Preparing for Tomorrow.
Nothing physical, obviously. But I am running through things in my head. When will I get up, what time will I be strolling into work etc. Why am I doing this? Because the people down at District decided to add a bus stop. That's not really the problem though. The problem is that whoever did it failed to open up a map, or talk to me or Dispatch to see what the easiest course would be to accomodate the new stop. Instead they have me darting back and forth five or six times, to cover all the area instead of just having me loop around. I already spoke to a safety supervisor once about it, hoping that it will get changed but we'll see. In the mean time I might have to speak with my Dispatch to see if I can get approval to alter the route and make it much easier, and cut off time. So... here's hoping for that. Because if not that route is about to get way confusing.
I also have to prepare for a long day tomorrow because I likely won't be coming home tomorrow to grab a midday nap. Instead I'll probably stay at the barn to try and work more on my student rosters. Hopefully I can get the first of three runs done early, and then get the majority (if not the entirety) of the transfer run done as well. That would leave me with only the elementary route to write down. Its a long process, but hey, at least its paid. Another couple hours on my paycheck could never hurt, especially with all the bills lately.
Then right after work I have to come home, grab presents for Little (I got them all wrapped up in some shiny purple wrapping paper today) before I head over to Essential One and make sure the car is up to snuff. Full on oil and make sure the air pressure in the tires is where it should be. Cause right after that I get to head into Anchorage and spend some time with some very lovely people. Sadly I won't get to stay for as long as I would like, but a few hours of quality hang out time is better than nothing in my opinion. Probably 2 or 3 hours. After that I have to head home and start to get ready for bed myself. I've been staying up way too late lately. Still, even if I'm tired the next day it'll be worth it to visit with them.
This is the second entry with the new format and I have to say it seems to be a lot easier so far. It also feels more relaxing on my eyes as a read through it. I'm giving myself some negative space for my eyes to take a break from the wall of text. I'm pretty sure I'll stick with this style of writing, though with it only being the second entry its still a bit early to tell if I'll get tired of it.
What I will get tired of though, and this seems to be a problem specifically with mobile, is how often I'm typing and all of a sudden there is a random n or . seperating my words instead of a space. I know I have fat fingers and all, but I feel like it happens a lot more on this application than any other and constantly having to go back to erase something and fix it is making me want to break my phone. I won't of course. That would be nuts, but the frustration is definitely real at this point. That or I will be in the middle of typing and my courser will suddenly be between 1-3 lines above where I was just typing and will be messing up what ever I had previously written. I'm not sure what the deal with it is but ugh.
