I think my argument is going to be that contemporary playwriting shows a desire for stories about and referencing incest and part two, backed up by the varying levels of covertness in varying (forms of) plays we've read, is that it is seen as so alienating or as so requiring a specific audience that there is a known (monetary) dis-incentive to being direct about it. in hindsight I don't know if this is debatable

#Idk a majority of the plays we read had some reference to incest and there were interesting patterns. first play we read in the year #centered around a Very Specifically Implied family without saying anything direct. next week we go see the only play that explicitly #mentioned it #which is a one woman show about domestic abuse!!!!!!! with a very specific audience and intention #vs the first play which was recently on broadway #The people love indirectness!!!!!!!!!!!#This is not a bad thing #^I feel like everything is so obvious once I type it out

how did time pass so quickly? it's far too late to be out, especially after a full day of training. but! I believe we are learning well and growing strong! I'm starting to understand why people dedicate their whole lives to battling... it's both different from and similar to how it feels to race with them

I've also bonded with my team, a few especially I understand much better than originally. both Sir Bubbles (my starter, a froakie) and Cherry (a fletchling) are rather shy, but have come out of their shells quite nicely~ I had Cherry in my arms fast asleep while booking a hotel room for the night

Man sometimes I feel like I’m making up my medical issues. Or at least exaggerating. I feel like a hypochondriac.

Because of this, I’ve ignored issues that could actually affect my life.

I might have a color anomaly. The local eye clinic is trying to get the ability to test for that (past the original color blindness test) so we can tell. I have issues telling light pinks and oranges apart, along with reds and oranges. Blacks, blues, and purples are hard for me when on a light background. I’ve had this issue for a few years. I just got it looked at a couple months ago. Thus, the probably diagnosis of a color anomaly came in. (It means I have all the rods and cones but there might be a smaller number of one of them causing the deficiency.) I really noticed this as a problem a couple years ago in biology when we did a color blindness test for fun and I was the only one who couldn’t see a woman made of pinks, reds, and oranges. Last year, I had a hard time distinguishing purple and blacks in the chemistry notes. I made mention of this to my teacher (she used purple to say that it was important but we didn’t need to write it down) and she asked if there was anything she could do to help since distance wasn’t a factor. I said she could underline or bracket the text or at least give a symbol to show that the text is different. She claimed it was too much work to do and didn’t change a thing. I also couldn’t see what she wrote on the whiteboard if the markers were dying. So that was fun. I barely understood what was going on in that class.

I’ve always had issues with my right ear. The ear canal is smaller and I’ve had issues all my life with headphones/earbuds on that side. If my left ear gets plugged up either from flying, or a lot of wax built up quicker than normal, or I’m sick and am having sinus trouble, I can barely hear out of my right ear. I finally expressed the concern that it’s negatively affecting my life. If we have the radio playing (which we do, a lot), and I’m watching a YouTube video with earbuds in, I can’t hear if someone’s talking to me on that side. If the radio is on and someone tries to catch my attention on my right side, I won’t always register what they’ve said or that they’re saying it to me. I have ringing in my ears sometimes, probably all the time but I’m used to it so I don’t notice it. I use music to help focus in classes. Sometimes I have the exchanges where someone says something to me, and I ask them what they said, and as they repeat I’m able to interrupt them and answer. I took a year of ASL and it really got me thinking about my own hearing, since I am a hearing person. I’ve had the smaller canal since birth, but I never really thought it could cause issues until recently. I’m getting my hearing tested at some point. Mom wants me to do it at the school, but I’d rather see a specialist or someone who isn’t a school nurse.

Anyway, what I’m trying to say is there’s a possibility I’m color blind and hard of hearing and I’ve just ignored the signs for years and years. So, getting those tests done to be sure and I’m definitely not going to self diagnose because that’s not okay.

He never shaves by his own choice except for a role and he's got no movies lined up except for the doomsday rumor... see, if they actually gave a shit about these characters and stories we wouldn’t be here at all, HOWEVER if they actually gave a shit about steve (ignoring that they don’t and that’s a bit of why we’re here but just a very tiny bit) then steve would be out there punching bucky in the head for what he did and god i would love to see him do that in this fuckass movie.

but i’m 90% sure we’re gonna see captain hydra take stage alongside st*ggy nonsense so. really fucking love that for us.

the only thing that’s going to stop me from walking out of the theatre the second i see that man on screen is my need to know what’s gonna happen to sam and the x-men (yes i know the latter are just gonna die but that was my childhood so i wanna eat up every minute with them back in the bizarre sausage fest way that they are). and to an extent bucky, but they ruined him already so i find it difficult to care about what they’re gonna do with him next.
