Anubis the Jackal is a confident dark-coloured jackal with a muted shade of purple tinted into his fur, it is very subtle but noticeable under the light. Across his body are purple-grey toned markings that decorate his appearance and give him a regal and elegant look. He has swirling lines that rise from his inner toes up his legs, smaller mirrored swirls that climb from his thumbs and index fingers up to his wrists, as well as single angled stripes slanting down from his ribs. His chest fluff shares the same pale purple-grey tone, splitting into a natural diamond shape. His muzzle is also this colour, framed by thick, plush cheek fur that gives him a perpetually pampered look. Anubis' hair is long and dramatic, it falls in smooth, voluminous layers streaked with royal blue highlights. A prominent stripe runs down his forehead in-between his eyes of the same blue. To frame his head, his ears are sharp and curved, with green-tinted sclera and emerald irises highlighted with black swirling mascara. His tail is sleek and expressive in nature, tipped with the same purple-grey shade and covered in fluff.
In his Dark form his colour shifts dramatically; corrupting into a beautiful array of crystals. His body colour shifts into a grey-navy blue, with the royal blue accents in his hair deepening. Whilst the purple-grey remains similar in colour and location, apart from his waist markings that are spread further around his body from his ribs in a violet colouration. His hands and feet are completely covered in large and jagged crystal-like growths, embedded with crimson and violet shards. His tail also contains the shards, embedded deep into his fur. In the centre of his chest, his fur parts around a fused ruby. The centre of his head follows the same transformation, undergoing a regal and eerie alteration as he gains twisting black horns, held together by the crimson ruby like a crown. Anubis' sclera becomes pitch black, which causes his emerald eyes to appear even sharper and more menacing.
Anubis wears a thick golden necklace that bears a large and striking red ruby in the middle, as well as a matching golden headpiece that curls beneath his ears, crowned with a giant central ruby. He wears golden rings around his knees and matching rings on his wrists. To finish off his look, he has standard black gauntlet-shaped gloves with a pale blue diamond-shaped stripe in the middle, and ankle-length black boots with three diamond-shaped stripes in the same pale blue, placed in an alternating inward-outward pattern.
He defines himself by comfort, beauty and theatrics. He's self-centred, yet oddly charming and known for being quite a gossiper as he is always one of the first to stir a conversation, especially if it means he gets information out of others. Despite the fact he's made in the image of the Egyptian God of Death, Anubis is disgusted by the sight of blood and gore, and often avoids violence as a whole, though it doesn't stop him from cheering on from the side-lines. He hates corpses and despises anything to do with decay. Anubis indulges in those he cares about; showering them with physical gifts and affectionate compliments.
Anubis is the son to Infinite the Jackal and Mephiles the Dark, combined with their DNA to test how half of a God's DNA would react in their experiments, he was made as a type of symbolic and spiritual weapon. He shows zero interest in knowing them. Whether they're alive or dead, he simply does not care. However, he does have a found family that he loves, even if he doesn't admit to it. Zero is one of the very few people that Anubis genuinely respects and often acts as her personal cheerleader. Whilst Lithium is his best friend; these two are known for spending hours together usually practicing makeup-looks or gossiping.
Imagine a Mephinite kid, but those Solaris genes came in a bit too hard. Like, Infinite holds his daughter for the first time, and she flashbangs him. Mephiles enters the room, and Infinite is blinded by the light of what will grow up to basically be The Speaker of God from Hazbin Hotel.
Maybe less bird-like though...
