One thing i find very fascinating it when i run into vestigial organs and structures, which whales and some snake species have such as pythons and boas! Specifically looking at pelvic bones and the occasional limb?? Super fascinating to see!!

Little sneak peek for the mer Robert fic I'm working on ;)

"It was difficult to see into the glass, with how clouded and crusted it was with what seemed to be years of grime. It was dark inside the tank, near pitch black until something clicked and harsh white lights along the floor in front of it flickered on. Motion sensors, most likely. It illuminated the inside of the tank, and Chad felt his heart stop when it finally revealed what was inside the depths."

Guys I need opinions for my merman Robert au

Should Royd be a veterinarian? I need a vet in my fic, but I don't want to use any ocs. I was thinking maybe he has a veterinary degree and some type of engineering one? So he's one of the team's vets, but also a repair guy??

What do you think of the AU/Headcanon where Robert doesn't have a leg? And consequently, him having a prosthesis.

I love it! There's so many of my fics where I considered just, taking his leg away, but then I thought it was too much so I gave him leg privileges back 😔

Although in my mer Robert au, I am considering giving him a weakened leg when he finally turns human again, since he's at least partially disabled as a merman, with the damaged fins I gave him

No, it's really not; scrapped over 800 words and got left with less than 300?? It's, a work in progress???

Did i spent over three hours trying to figure out how to even sketch something for it? Eh, yes??

I can't figure out what SDN would stand for in my mer Robert au 🤔

I want it to be a sort of wildlife rescue/rehab that mainly specializes in marine life, instead of a hero dispatch place. I don't really wanna change the name though
