Bday present for my fave person
Regarding Mercy’s most recent nerf.
To all those wondering (regarding her nerf of course), now, when using her rez, it’s now even easier then what it was before to knock her out of rez, which is, of course, wonderful in every way possible.
Because as us intellectuals all know, it wasn’t already easy enough to knock her out of it anyways 😌❤

As a support main I’ve retired from overwatch like I have over 400 hours on mercy and I’ve tried playing her since the nerf again and again but it’s just impossible to do anything you can’t outheal anything your ult is laughable because all you do is fly which makes you a bigger target for hitscan The most you contribute now as mercy is just being a moving distraction for the enemies to shoot at. I hate blizzard for always shittin on supports I hope the company goes bankrupt from lack of support
I wish you luck on the new games your pursue, an that you find joy if you choose to return!
Tbh, I feel that while the nerfs may have hit her hard. Mercy is still quite viable.
Her ult, is yes, laughable in a lot of sense compared to other healer’s. But also remember.
A. She can heal through shields. Moira’s ult can do this as well, but she also can be stunned out of hers. Mercy still goes strong should you stun her (and not get the kill)
B. Beam length. I’ve been able to fly around corners and keep my team sustained and alive when ulting and be out of LOS of McCree ult/Solder ult and several other characters that wish death upon my soul.
C. While not healing, I’ve dove snipers (good tip I’ve learned from the youtuber Animetic is to go right above them. It’s harder for them to hit you) which can help your team, should the sniper have been ignored, or is picking off team mates. (Also Pharah’s are another target I like to pressure in ult)
D. Visability. You can get pretty high up with the ult, and see things that your team can’t. Being able to call out these threats can be viatal, specially if you see say, a flanking character that has ult.
E. Fight starter. Mercy in a lot of ways nowadays, is a character to start a fight or ensure a win. Since her ult is so fast charging, you can have it almost every team fight. Meaning that you can choose if you want to push your team forward with an AOE damage boost/heal or save it for later in the fight. It’s still an ult, and still powerful, maybe as not as some others, but it can change the flow of a battle.
Her name's not Mercy, it's a cry for help
Mercy mains in 2k18 are braver than any overwatch dev
