His tone dipped in frustration, dripped depths of accent that only surfaced when the anger overtook him. Around them, the walls pressed against his psyche, closing in - Overwatch was falling apart and there was nothing to be done to stop this inevitable trainwreck.

"You have a world renowned name, research, Angela, you can go anywhere. Get out now, find something that does some real good. If you stay here, it's all going to blow up in your face. And you're better than that."

She drags a keratin nail down the center length of the Good Doctor's back. pale, goose-bumped flesh dimpled by the spine, decisively mottled and puckered where those contraptions would attach.

"A surgeon ought to be more careful with her hands in the field, Doctor." Though, there are more injuries here than mere splintered phalanges. Moira cants her head, eyes the bloom of purple cresting over Angela's cheek, seeping richly into the jawline exposed from this angle. She tuts, tearing medical tape.

Titrating a hostage's wounds. Just enough to keep them alive, not enough to give them relief. It's all very analog. Delicate games revolving around balances. She presses the line of adhesive against a square cut of biotic-slathered cotton. Secures the other three sides the same.

"Has Talon clipped your tongue as well as your wings, Ziegler?"

She's not. She says she's not. She can get away with it in her protective suit.

But with Angela wearing the Valkyrie suit, Nesiwe doesn't need her own, so long as it's just the two of them. She may have cried from joy when she first realized this, but she didn't foresee that it would leave her open. Vulnerable. To tickling.

"The suit protects me from it," she answers, reluctant to reveal her secret. It's a little too late for that, as she's still recovering from a fit of laughter after an accidental poke to her left side. Her right arm, the prosthetic, wraps protectively around herself. "Don't you dare try anything or I'll put the suit right back on!"

It's an empty threat. She hasn't been able to hug someone without that suit in the way for so long, and she's not giving it up. She'll just have to be extra careful.

Whiskey eyes scrunch up in a bit of confusion. He'd blame the coming cold for his hesitation. Had she really just said what he thought she'd said?

"C'mon now, Doc." There was that signature Cassidy whine coming through. "All that 'n that's what'cha got as the medical professional?" He asked, shoulders sagging. "Tylenol?" He repeated. "Bottle'a whiskey'll do that much." It was his usual cure all.

"SEE? Reckon this ain't so bad." said in response to her initial assessment of the place, when they first pulled into the vacant motel parking lot. Looking around from their position in the small foyer, he now understands WHY the lot looked near abandoned — the interior wasn't too far off from the state of the exterior.

Dated wallpaper had begun to peel from the wicked desert heat, the linens look like they haven't been updated since the original Dust Bowl, and he'd be surprised if they got any channels on a television like THAT — much less anything worth watching. Honestly? He's right at home — Angela on the other hand...

he spares a glance towards her, a shrug of his shoulders initiating an apologetic grin, "Better than out there anyway..."

He's not sure what short straw the doctor pulled to get tied up with him on a mission like this, but Jesse didn't have any complaints. There were plenty other people that would've made some pretty miserable company in such a situation as this, he's glad it's at least with a friend.

"C'mon, take this off, you're soppin' wet — can't afford you catchin' a cold." He drops his drenched hat to the nearby coffee table with an audible splat before tugging on the serape he'd haphazardly tossed over her before their sprint to the door.
