jewish paganism is using ur chanukah menorah to light up imbolc dinner @witchatiel made lamb curry w/ yogurt, roasted veggies, shrimp and cabbage kimchi, and cranberry cream cheese dip with black pepper, then we lit candles for our moms!!! the big ones are for theirs (athena, brigid, and aphrodite), the smaller tealight is vanilla and i dedicated it to bast, and then i used three more on my menorah: one green candle each for bastet and asherah and a blue one for hashem since they're not really a dude anyway so lol why not for my moms i dedicated the tealight, my book on cat breeds and my cat-shaped card deck (both i LOVED as a kid) to bastet, an arbutus button i made myself, my seashell hair stick and this cool twig i've had for like a year and a half to asherah, and the seashell to them both. i'm happy my moms can share and i love them both very much!!!! plus, i decided to do a spin on the jewish prayer structure for both of them. idk hebrew, i just managed to piece these words together so they could be grammatically incorrect, but hey it's the thought that counts right? baruch atah, asherah, hashekhinah, melech haolam; baruch atah, haellat bastet, melech haolam; for my lyfe lol blessed are you, asherah, the divine feminine, sovereign of the universe; blessed are you, the goddess bastet, sovereign of the universe cause they are both sovereigns of the universe! we're all parts of the universe and they're wonderful goddesses and i love them. anyway, happy imbolc everyone!!!!
