Clangen Heart of the Sea challenge.

So this is a little sea mer theme challenge I made for clangen and wanted to share.

Not many rules that'll dictate things mainly just flavor but feel free to use however you like!!

RULESSS/the actual challenge/theming.

So this can be played in any mode because there are very little patrol rules.

Upon creation your leader has to be someone with the unusual senses/starclan/darkforest/omen/dream ability. This will be your flavor

And you have to have one of the beach clans... duh.

So as the moons go on your star will be sensing something on the horizon (whatever that is, is up to you. ) and will end up upon their death (within 50 moons they must die) they make a deal/ anger a god/ whatever flavor you want. But the result is the same.

Now every 5 moons you'll roll (or choose based on a likelihood listed further below) on so many cats to be "blessed by the sea"

Now this has 6 stages every time a cat gets picked they move up a stage (no rerolling just moving up)

1st stage: the cat has webbed paws, itchy skin, and glowing eyes.

2nd stage: the cat starts having scales grow across their body, (I like having fun picking the color) and they have dreams of the sea.

3rd stage: fins grow from their ankles, ears, tail, and ridges form along their back. (You can now decide what kind of mer they are as well as pick a second color :3 ) as well as needing to stay damp.

4th stage: more fins much larger grow on down the spine (that's the dorsal fin!) And on the hips (either pectoral or pelvic fin) and their back legs become weak/bad at walking.

5th stage: the claudal/tail fin fully form. And are bedridden / dehydrated if they don't swim daily. + all the extra cool stuff you wanna add

6th stage: gills. They can't be on land most of the time and their back legs can barely support them on land (think seal) most of their body is covered in scale and now they glow in the dark! (Markings either reflect the pattern/glow eye color. Or do whatever you want have fun here.)

As your clan progressively becomes more fish here's how things change.

all kits born by a blessed one will be born one stage higher then their parent.

Your attitude towards patrols changes too. Now clan interactions you either avoid or agress.

All lost cats get taken by scientists.

Outsiders tend to be afraid if you.

Cold sucks. No patrols during winter. (Or summer. Whatever your theme is)

Extra rules

Your leader can't be related to the first.

Your deputy can't become leader.

The leader, deputy, head mediator, head medicine cat, and all kits of the leader start with stage 2 upon the beginning of the blessing.

Patrols become underwater themed and you become folk tale to outsiders. Aka scary sea creaturesss.

Once every cat is blessed to some degree pick a random number that's how many moons until the flood. (Or the clan fully moves to the ocean however you wanna put it.)

Once the flood happens, no patrols for one. Whole. Year. Also a random number of cats die but none that have gills can die during this.

After this your officially a mer clan! Whoohoo!! I- don't really have any more rules only enough to get you here + 1 point to help yall. so you guys gotta figure out what happens after!! Have fun!

That 1 point: once the clan is fully underwater and everyone is stage 6. The first kit born will be named Heart of the Sea. And be a bit special...
