This photo was taken two days after Hurricane Lane passed over Hawaii. 🌀⛈That Hurricane was predicted to demolish the Islands (Hilo was flooded but most of the Islands were spared) just like Florence is predicted to demolish our beloved Outer Banks and make for a very wet wedding here in VA. Hello friends! I just wanted to let you guys know that nautilus shell headdress orders are closed indefinitely until I can perfect a resin version of these naturally beautiful shells (stripes and all). The nautilus is now a threatened species and therefore it is illegal to harvest and sell them in the U.S and ethically irresponsible to purchase them. 🙅🏼‍♀️I made this headdress two years ago before the nautilus shell embargo and the majority of the shell headdresses you’ve seen recently were made with shells that were also purchased before the embargo. Hey guys! Sorry for the absence. We’re a week out from the wedding 👰🏼🤵🏼and have just found out that Hurricane Florence is scheduled to hit us the day before the wedding. 😭😭.
