Mermay Day 7: Banggai Cardinalfish

I don’t know why but this fish kinda gave me sort of pompous air to them, so I tried to replicate that in here hehe

Mermay day 7:MerMe (please ignore the fact that I'm posting this 3 PM) Yeah, so today I technically was supposed to do a anglerfish mermaid, but i wasn't feeling like doing another "accurate" mermaid and wanted to let loose and do something more basic. The anglerfish element IS there (if you squint and use a magnifying glass, that is) but mostly its just a design that i feel represents me (this is the part where I indulge in writing out all my design choices, logic and stuff, but honestly y'all probably didn't even read this far, but if you read this, hmu for a free request of a character drawing (offer is up till my next post lol))
