okay so the other day i was at musical auditions and part of it was learning a short dance sequence, but my legs were so damn sore and it hurt. so bad. and all i was thinking was “damn. the is shit is more intense than operation snake eater EVER was”

from what i remember, snake eater wasn’t even all that intense. sure there’s the main objective of the mission weighing on you, but majority of the time it was just “okay, i kinda stink sooo. i’m gonna go bathe in the river. and maybe catch a fish and eat it :3”.

i don’t remember the part of operation snake eater where the fear yelled at me to do a jazz square into a pivot turn, then a three step walk-and-touch move.

canfort food: calorie mate 🤤🤤🤤 i went to japan a while back but i didn’t know i was big boss then and spotted them irl. my friend pointed them out and i was like “haha yeah cool”. there’s probably some way i can get them shipped to the US via a 3rd party platform. i’d at least like to keep the packaging to put like little thingies inside

canon trinkets: fucking hush puppy or ez gun. any of those tranq ones. when i’m actually playing mgs3, i definitely prefer using the ez gun, but i remember using the hush puppy a lot more.

canon habits: hmmm. hm hm hm. i don’t exactly have anything explicitly specified in canon, but i do have things i remember that ive carried over. one of these things is using my teeth to rake out the grime under my nails. it’s like biting them, but without ripples them off. much better alternative.

Canon-clarifications: I was not being controlled against my will. Oh my god. There are only two times when that’s even suggested, and one instance immediately self-contradicts while the other instance is Revolver Ocelot. Sorry, we’re trusting Revolver Ocelot as a reliable narrator now? Someone who had [at the time] never met me, and who had [at the time] hypnotized himself out of his own gourd? We’re just gonna take his word for it that I’m being forced to act? I may not have been enthused about my work, sure, but all of my hosts were frankly better for me than I was for them. They kept me safe.

Especially when it comes to Volgin and Shabani, I don’t get why people think they could’ve even been capable of controlling me. I only took Shabani as a host to kill him, and Volgin was functionally just a body to puppet. What control Could they have had over me?

And I went back to Skull Face multiple times! I took different hosts intermittently, and still kept working with him! That was my own decision. I was fully able to leave if I ever wanted. Which I did, by the way! Kind of notably!! But for a good chunk of time, I didn’t, because I didn’t want to! I was safe, I was valuable, and I trusted and looked up to him. You would see that if you paid attention to our characters instead of just calling him a creep and calling me attractive. Like I haven’t done similar things. Ugh

im solid snake and no matter what name i try to pick for myself, euphoria-inducing or otherwise, i just cant go by anything other than that. snake. big boss once said to me that i 'deserved' that title, not earned it. aint that funny? i dont know where im going with this. whatever my name is, it'll always Really be snake. that's what ive earned, i think.

so embarrassing being a noncanon kin especially one that wasn't very charming cuz how do i sell myself in canoncalls 😭?
