Happy 2020!

Several generations before us thought we’d have flying cars, 3D printer-like things that instantaneously make food, hoverboards, Sk/ype before Sk/ype existed (maybe?), citizens being able to go to space, all that great stuff!

But we have smartphones, normal 3D printers, memes, alarmingly heightened prices, personal computers, and a great majority of the world population possibly never going to space. Am I complaining? Not really, although it could be better!

Still, sometimes you have to appreciate things, even if some situations could be better.

I wanna go to space before that opportunity slips from me forever. Speaking of which...why did there have to be a huge dust storm on Mars? If I understand correctly, Oppy’s been gone for almost 2 years. <:(

But enough sadness for now. Here’s to a glorious future...hopefully! :D

How did Ken return, you may ask? Turns out he was kidnapped not long after the home break-in; the last thing he saw before being taken away in a bag was a bunch of goons he couldn’t really defend himself against, as he was highly outnumbered. Quiet Bob pretended to be Ken’s girlfriend in hopes that the goons would let him go somehow, but they threw Bob into the same basement as Ken instead. They both successfully escaped...assuming nothing else bad happens.

Annoy other people

Talk too much (which is why I’ve gone mostly silent throughout the years; mainly with family, as they always considered me ‘the chatterbox’)

Do things at times where others find it inconvenient

Be in conversations where folks have no idea what I’m trying to say, no matter how many times I try to reiterate or rephrase it

Try my best to make friends, but be really lucky if I contact them more than once a year

Feel like I live in other peoples’ shadows

Be frightened easily, which can be harder to control in some situations than others

Lose my marbles

Be a borderline recluse in the real world

See the bad before the good

Exist. Yeah. Just exist.

I mean, if you don’t like me, I honestly don’t blame you. I don’t ask for pity, I’m just mentally crumbling to pieces right now. I’m sure I’ll be fine when I wake up, right? Right. This is just a case of the blues.

Believe it or not, all of us here are staying in England for a few days. Unfortunately, my mum forgot to pay some bills, so we couldn’t send the photo on time from the lack of internet. That’s her at the far right with the rabbit ears over Wilma’s head, by the way. She really wanted to see me again in person, and very badly so!

See that woman poking out from above Aunt Angie’s head? It’s Yvan’s lesser known twin sister, Yvette; she eloped with ‘Tall Paul’ long ago, and it was decades before we’d all meet again. The little one in Agatha’s arms is Betty; I wonder how being a big sister’s going for Wilma so far!

Aunt Angie and Uncle Geraldo were so sweet to me when I was little; there were times where I wondered if they happened to be angels, as they’d treat me well without an alarming amount of coddling. (No offence, mum! I still love you!)

If you’re wondering why you don’t see my dad in the photo...well, that’s a question best left unanswered. But he and my mum are divorced, as they’ve never really gotten along to begin with. I better stop here before it gets too lengthy.
