-That's why he's a yandere, because he just doesn't know how to handle his emotions and various, disturbing thoughts. Going yandere is his coping mechanism--his only way of ensuring you won't leave him.

-Raiden will most certainly chase away or kill anyone whom he thinks is attempting to get between you and him, but if no such person exists, then he will be relatively passive.

-When you're at home, Raiden is very clingy, though on the bright side, he's not whiny. He'll just cling onto you silently, and if you try to get free, he will give you the most pathetic, heartbreaking puppy dog eyes you've ever seen.

-Though it isn't all that common, Raiden does get drunk and when this happens, he can be quiet violent. It's best to tread lightly and mind your words during this time.

-Despite all these mental and emotional issues, Raiden sincerely cares for you and loves you, he just lacks the abilities to express himself healthily due to his harsh upbringing.

-It is highly unlikely he'll ever be cured, but perhaps, with perseverance and diligence, you can help him work through some of his problems, lessening them to a degree where they don't bother you two as much.

You sat on the floor of your bedroom floor, legs crossed, arms folded, head bowed in silent shame. Earlier, you'd been ridiculed for being chubby, and were now sitting on the floor contemplating your physique. You were certainly not fat or obese--to check, you'd compared yourself to others online. In fact, yours was considered a healthy physique by most fitness websites.

So why did you still feel so down in the dumps?

"Hey, Y/N?" Raiden called, entering your room, the door having been wide open.

"Yeah, what's up?" You replied, looking up at him sullenly.

"You...alright?" He asked, noticing your downcast expression.

"I guess," You sighed, flopping backwards, your head resting against the mattress of your bed. "Hey, Raiden? Am I fat?"

Raiden was taken aback by this sudden question, and as Fred struggled to answer Daphne when she asked if she was just a pretty face, Raiden stood there, fumbling with his words.

"N-no, no of course not, you're not fat, not at all...why?"

"Just wondering," Was your despondent reply.

Raiden was silent for a moment before folding his arms and squinting at you.

"You sure? I think you're lying, Y/N." Raiden paused for a moment before continuing, "Did someone tease you?" You blew out a loud breath before admitting,

"Yeah...many someones, in fact." Raiden huffed a sigh before marching into the room, taking a seat on the floor next to you, and throwing an arm around your shoulder, tugging you close.

"Listen, Y/N. You. Are. Not. Fat. You're chubby, and chubby is healthy, it means you eat well--not too much--but not too little either. Don't listen to those people who want to make you feel bad. I think you're fine the way you are, and you should too. Got that?" You blinked a few times, staring up at him with widened eyes.

"You....really mean that?" You asked, fidgeting with your fingers.

"Totally." Raiden answered, a tiny smile breaking out across his face. "Now c'mere. Gimme a hug." Sighing softly, you reached over and embraced your boyfriend, resting your head on his shoulder and closing your eyes.

"I love ya," Raiden muttered, into your hair. "Never forget that, kay?" You nodded, feeling much better after that (somewhat awkward) pep talk.

"I know. I love you too, Raiden, and thanks for that." You replied, grinning now. "You're the best."

I loved your writing I wanted to make a request, what would Metal Gear Raiden be like with a male reader who is an Android, could it be platonic, I don't see it romantically in this hedcanon. but you can do what would be dynamic in these two, Raiden is a cyborg and the male reader is an Android, they could give strange vibes to friends, having Jack teaching the Android reader what it would be like to be human, I think.

-Raiden thought it was so cool to meet an android that spoke, acted, and even thought just like a human.

-The future is now, it seemed. Raiden was determined to show you the ways of the world, to make you see how cool it was to live.

-In exchange, you help him hone whatever skills he needs assistance with because being an android programmed to have access to Google and all these other resources, you know everything.

-He thinks you're the most lifelike android you've ever met, even if you are a little strange, slow, clunky when you move, and distant.

-Though getting to know you was a little bit awkward at first, you guys grew to be the best of friends very quickly.

-As time passed, you expressed your interest to learn more about what it was like to be human, since it was the only subject you couldn't learn about digitally.

-Raiden was more than happy to help, and took you on a trip around the world, explaining how humans were different everywhere, their customs, religions, cultures, etc.

-You return from this vacation refreshed and energized, feeling more connected with humanity than ever.

Cramps (MGS2! Raiden x Fem!Pregnant!Reader)

Recently, you'd been suffering from stomach cramps that were very similar to period cramps. This was normal; something that happened during the early stages of pregnancy.

Despite the fact that it was a common, expected occurrence, it was still very uncomfortable. You often found yourself curled up in your bed, clutching your stomach, trying--in vain--to sleep the cramps off. Eventually, you gave up, and simply lay there, staring at the ceiling in agony.

"Y/N...something wrong?" Raiden trooped into the room in naught but a tank top and short shorts. "Yeah, my stomach," You groaned, rolling over and burying your face in the pillows. "What's wrong?" Raiden asked, hurrying over to you in case there was a problem. "Nothing serious, just cramps. But God, are they painful." You grumbled, rubbing your stomach to emphasize your woes. Raiden's lips curved into a small smirk as he crossed over to the other side of the bed and sitting on it. "Wanna snuggle?" You nodded, gratefully sliding into his outstretched arms and resting your head on your husband's warm chest. "How's that?" He asked, planting a kiss on your forehead. You nodded, letting out a small, content sigh.

"You're gonna be an amazing mama," Raiden whispered, running his fingers through your hair. "I just know it. You're gonna give birth to a beautiful baby and we'll be a happy family." You sniggered, feeling your heart surge with warmth at the thought of raising a child with Raiden. "I bet we will," You agreed, toying with the hem of your husband's shirt. "I--OW!" The cramps suddenly intensified, then immediately calmed down. "You alright?" Raiden asked, rubbing your back worriedly. "Yeah, I'm fine," You sighed, snaking your arms around Raiden's waist in an effort to be closer to him. "Just cramps."

"Try not to think about it," Raiden offered, kissing your forehead again. "Just focus on me. Or focus on yourself, and how beautiful you are...and how sweet you are, and how perfect you are," He leaned forwards, pressing a tender kiss to your lips. "And how much I love you."

A visible blush formed on your face, one Raiden quickly caught sight of. "You're blushing. Is that a side effect of the cramps?" You shook your head, giggling softly. "No, it's not because of that..." The realization appeared to click into Raiden's head as he began kissing you furiously, eventually flipping you onto your back and pinning you beneath him. "I just thought of a way to take your mind off your cramps," He said, grinning. "A very effective way."

You could only lay there helplessly, knowing of your fate, yet unable to do anything about it.

-Tries his best to be prepared for every possible situation--this pregnancy is slowly transforming him into an overprotective, overthinking dad, and damn, is he good at it.

-Always has food ready for you, be it packaged, pre-prepared, or something he just threw together 5 minutes ago; he will always have food available.

-Takes you shopping on his leave days so you can buy furniture for the baby's nursery, and maybe some stuffed animals too.

-In the event that you get overly emotional (as some people do, no need to worry), Raiden will hold you and comfort you and generally keep you company till you calm down.

-He is also there for you if you get morning sickness or just don't feel well.

-Raiden also uses his military expertise to strategically place safety gates at tactical locations around the house. Don't laugh at him, he's just concerned for his baby.

-Your baby isn't even born yet and Raiden is already buying toys, plushies, baby books, and more, overcrowding the nursery before it even has a resident.

-His Google history consists mostly of searches like these: "quick tasty recipes", "how to teach your baby swordfighting" and "what to do when wife is pregnant and crying"

-Sometimes he can't sleep cause he's just that excited for your bundle of joy to get here.

You fumbled with your keys, cycling through each one until you found the house key you were locking for. Giddily, you slid it into the lock and swung the door open, entering the quiet solace of your home. "You're back," Raiden called from the couch, nodding at you with a soft smile on his face. "Have fun?" You nodded, setting down the bags you were carrying on the coffee table. "I got presents for you!" Raiden blinked a few times, unsure of whether or not he heard that right. "Presents?" You nodded brightly, reaching into one of the bags and pulling out a light blue, oversized sweater. "For you." You said, placing it into his arms. Raiden examined the garment with great curiosity, before smiling widely. "Thanks. I love it." He immediately tugged off his shirt and slipped the sweater on, sinking back into the couch when he felt how soft and fuzzy it was.

"Ah, but there's more," You said, grinning. Reaching into one of the other bags, you pulled out a set of fluffy white tiger slippers and a beautiful crystal pendant. "All for me?" Raiden asked, as you shoved the items into his hands. "All for you!" Raiden chuckled, a light blush spreading across his face. "Thank you so much, Y/N..this is amazing." He wasted no time in sliding the slippers onto his feet and clasping the pendant around his neck. "How do I look?" You beamed, throwing your arms around him and squealing. "Friggin' gorgeous!" Raiden returned your hug full force, squeezing you so tightly you heard you spine pop in some places. "I love you, Y/N," He whispered, resting his head on your shoulder. "I really do." You playfully mussed up his hair, still smiling widely. "I'm glad--all I want to do is spoil you." Raiden's blush suddenly deepened; he cleared his throat several times before lying down on the couch and spreading his arms wide welcomingly. "Want to help me break in this new sweater?"

You wasted no time in tackling him, hooking your limbs around his and lying flat (or as flat as you could) on his chest. "So warm..." You mumbled, running your hands up and down his torso. "It is, isn't it? Good for winter." You nodded your agreement before closing your eyes and drifting off to sleep, surrounded by warmth and love.

-Buys you guys matching shirts, one for you that says "I'm the world's cutest mom" and one for him that says "I'm the world's hottest dad", and you two flaunt them loud and proud in public.

-When he's at work he can't stop talking about how excited he is for your baby to be born. His enthusiasm is terrifying; some people are starting to wonder if he's losing his mind.

-And he kinda is--out of love! He just loves you and his unborn baby sooooo much.

-Wants to write his own storybooks so he can read them to your kid but isn't all that experienced at creative writing, so the best he can manage are short little poems.

-If you're interested, he'll take you shopping for essential oils so you can do aroma therapy.

-He'll also give you a gentle massage if you need or want it.

-Spends his (rare) downtime researching ways to make you more comfortable, how to take care of the baby once it's born, what foods to make for the baby once it grows up, when to start saving up for it's college fund, etc.

You'd had a crush on Raiden from the moment you'd met and had kept that secret for as long as you could remember, as you were too shy and too afraid to confess to him.

You thought that with time, you'd rack up the courage to tell him how you felt, but every time you thought you were ready, you saw him with his gentle, quiet eyes and sweet smile, and everything you'd accumulated over the days just flew out the window.

This pattern continued for several years. You would spend your nights pining and planning, convincing yourself that you could do this and that the worst he could say is no, only to have all your meticulously pre-planned words get stuck in your throat, leaving you a stuttering, nervous wreck. At times, you'd get frustrated with yourself, insecure that Raiden would think of you as a weirdo for never being able to talk properly for more than 5 minutes when you were around him. At other times, you'd become jealous of Rose, and how she always seemed to be hanging out with Raiden, helping him on missions, giving him advice, taking him to movies.

Before you knew it, your frustration and insecurities with yourself evolved and merged into a single emotion that was directed towards that woman--no--that bitch. You quickly grew angry and spiteful towards her, jealous that she got along with Raiden better than you did, and somehow still had the audacity to manipulate and use him. It made your blood boil, seeing the two of them together. How dare she? She didn't even love him--she was using him! So why was Raiden friendlier towards her? Why couldn't you do what she did? What did she have that you didn't?

A lot, it seemed, as very soon, it was confirmed that the two of them were dating. When you showed up to work one day, he and Rose approached you, wide grins on their faces. Rose excitedly informed you that she and "Jack", as she called him, were dating, and that they couldn't have been happier. Her words meant nothing to you; the soft smile on Raiden's face, did. It was proof that he had found someone else; that you'd missed your chance and that there was virtually no hope for you to ever be with Raiden. In that single moment, your heart was crushed entirely, the love of your life having been swept out from under your feet. From that point on, you changed.

The jealousy and rage you felt towards Rose soon became too much to be kept inside; it was now being displayed through your behavior and mannerisms towards her. You were aloof and distant towards her, sometimes downright ignoring her, while still managing to be friendly and polite around Raiden. He noticed this, and soon, he confronted you about it.

"Why are you so cold to Rose?" He asked, striding after you as you traveled through the familiar paths that led you home. "Answer me." He reached out and gripped your arm, preventing you from leaving. "Why?" You bit down hard on your lip, resentment flowing through your veins. What was it any of his business? Why did he care? Why should he care? Didn't he see that this woman was all wrong for him--that you would be a better option? "I just don't get it," You finally mumbled, yanking your arm away and clenching your fists. "Why do you love her so much? Why do you care about her? Why did you choose her over me?"

Raiden looked at you confusedly for a few moments before the reality of the situation dawned upon him. "All this time...?" You growled, turning away from him and hurrying down the street. Raiden made no attempt to go after you, after all, why would he?
