I think the English localization team mistook 地 for 他... They translated 地の隊 (Terra Unit) as “the other units” at least two times (I have been collecting npcs background dialogues these days)

このところNPCたちの背景会話をちまちま集めてて、ほぼ確信に至ったんですけど、これ「地」と「他」を間違えちゃってると思うんですよ

Finally beat Savage Omega with NPCs before the festival starts. Was it tough? Definitely. Was it fun? I’m not sure. It was like a stress test rather than a video game. But I need to do this again with my ponytail guy too

Completed the Lagiacrus mission in English. I get why some English-speaking hunters talking about how Erik pronounced Lagi’s name. To me, he (and our hunter) sounded like just trying to be close to JP pronounciation, ラギアクルス. Reminded me of some hunters talking about how they pronounce “Tigrex”

ラギアのミッションを英語音声でやってみて、海外民が名前の発音についてざわついていた理由を理解しました。「ティガレックス」の発音で意見が割れるみたいな話だった。なるほどね
