quick concept of a younger version of the commander from monster hunter world! the grammeowster chef mentions something at one point about how the field team leader looks just like his grandpa did when he was younger, so I used that as a starting point! also my friends and i named him “max”, or “maxim”, short for maximus!

Hunters probably use Monster blood for baking and cooking because it’s easier to get their hands on blood than eggs

Like. Herding Gargwa or other small monsters to get eggs from is hard, especially in the new world where there’s a new catastrophy every other week, but most Hunters probably don’t want to give up entirely on sweets either and harassing the Meowscular chef to offer pastries at the canteen is probably viewed as a death-wish, so... they just have to improvise. (especially the Handler. I mean- girl’s just chucking raw sweet potatoes or whatever into the steamworks, she’d cook brownies on a candle if needed)

I’m just imaging a bunch of younger Hunters sitting together in their shared quarters late at night, using some old armor-pieces to make brownie batter in and using idk, fire-elemental weapons to cook their brownies over. And ofc the Commander catches wind of it quite quickly (probably cause they almost burned down their quarters or whatver) and in a weak effort to not get their asses beat they offer him some-

Commander: you know, all things considered, these are actually quite decent. I can accept you hiding dry ingredients under your beds, but where did you put the eggs?

Hunter 1: Oh we didn’t use any eggs

Commander:

Commander: what did you use then

Hunter 2: *kicking empty blood vials under the bed*

Commander: WHAT DID YOU PUT IN THE BROWNIES-

Can someone enlighten me as to why we haven't got a single fic about the commander? From Monster Hunter World? I get parched each time he gives me orders in-game... Call me crazy! But I KNOW SOME OF YOU BITCHES FEEL/FELT IT TOO!
