Howdy! Every once in a while I see these two pieces pop up on Pinterest, and I wanted to ask if you knew the original artists or the context? Is this little kitty proto-Tatters? Ty and here is a Lil friend! 🐈‍⬛

In a nutshell-- yes!

I do not remember the name of the writer, but these were inspired by a fic where Hare, after being laid out in a junkyard (right picture top), protected a kitten from some bullies. The 'bots adopted the kitten and named her (?) AK(-47) (thanks Skull). I haven't seen that fic since, but I never shook the idea of the Becile Bots adopting a cat. So even moreso than any Marshmallow parallels, that fanfic led to Tatters!

And the artist is my long-time friend Micer, pinged above :)

I try to give most members of the clergy a wide berth out of habit - but more so, The Nameless Ghouls. 

To be honest - I find them frightening.

Curious and yet dispassionate.  Some speak.  Some do not.  Some claim kinship to elements.  Others, nothing to their name but only their dedication.  Their masks and garb not so much a sign of individuality or fealty but simply an ever changing uniform of service to the faith.

One moment they can be as clumsy and ungainly as man unsteady in his steps, and yet before a blink of an eye can suddenly be across the room without a twitch of the curtains.  You cannot help but watch them out of that instinctual and wary caution, much like a nervous rabbit.  And they know, no doubt it is a game for them, a brief but enjoyable thing having a hand in that discomfort of another. 

And in of that knowledge they do not care.

I certainly felt like that rabbit when I was sketching this. -P.

Some folks just want a friggen reason to complain. Oh they make X, I want them to only make Y, I shall now proceed to piss and moan about how unfair/unneeded X happens to be until they see the error of their ways and do what I want done. As opposed to, maybe, not looking for it, not looking at it or making whatever it is they want themselves. Dunno, I prefer 'You do you far better than I can do you - so you keep at it because it makes you happy.'

oh man i really feel it. just. maaan. 

like that’s kind of where half my content comes from anyways. i want to see x, well i don’t see anyone doing x. time to do x myself! cuz it’s fun, and i enjoy it.
