Jubilee, Bishop, Rogue and Gambit go to the concert to watch Dazzler's performance. However, Sinister's Nasty Boys turn up to kidnap Dazzler for a nefarious purpose. Fortunately, the X-Men foil the kidnapping attempt on Dazzler and show is able to go on.
This story in the comic is a prelude to the X-Men 97 cartoon.
Are you hyperfixating on a group of minor villains from a comic/cartoon from three decades ago? No, just me? Well if you are, here's every appearance of the Nasty Boys across the comic and cartoon!
'x' indicates an appearance, 'm' indicates a minor appearance/mention, and the one 'c' indicates a cameo.
Ya know. Strength, agility, reflexes, senses, claws etc... he also sometimes has toxic breath.
BACKGROUND: [nationality unknown]
Michael's nationality is not specified in the comics. X-Men: The Animated Series portrays hairbag as speaking in a Jamaican accent. They also portrayed him as very, for lack of a better word, stupid in a way that just isn't present in the source material. It's hard to put into words but the whole thing feels more than a little bit racist.
As for the comics, he's pretty competent and definitely isn't characterised as less intelligent than the rest of the group. And is canonically less disgusting than Slab and George
He breaks out of the cell that X-Factor hold him in (with some help).
He has a rivalry with Wolfsbane because all furry mutants have to fight each other at some point. I don't make the rules.
He also does other petty crime.
He was briefly mind controlled by William Stryker along with, friend of the show, St. John Allerdyce.
"Oh no! Not Lenny!"
Let's be clear. They're just hanging out here. As friends. For fun. It's wholesome I love it.
STATUS: Dead
Michael was killed by the Upstarts but so far does not appear to have been resurrected on Krakoa. I guess S.W.O.R.D didn't want him.
