NAME: Patrick Mahony

Powers: Botanopathic Transmutation

He controls wood. Wood. He controls it. <insert joke here>

He controls the Shillelagh that he carries around and is also shown to control tree roots. He's basically a budget Black Tom Cassidy.

Background: Irish

Given his name, choice of weapon and hilariously spelled out accent, we can assume Patrick is supposed to be Irish.

He's actually deported from the states in X-Factor after trying to kidnap Senator Kelly at the behest of Mr Sinister. That said, like with all of these boys, he doesn't appear to be a particularly devoted follower of the guy.

He winds up in an English prison with his "good friend" Ruckus after robbing a bank. Apparently, he makes hooch.

He's definitely "good friends" with Ruckus.

Also, just a note about how I think these boys are supposed to be actually boys. As in, young. Young enough to get ID-ed. They don't look it, but it makes sense.

Also they call him "Roddy" which is delightful.

Patrick and Clement are actually imprisoned by the x-men for an undisclosed period of time after the jailbreak. Which I think is technically kidnapping?

Unfortunately, Patrick didn't appear in the animated series, making him the odd one out.

Status: Dead

Like Hairbag, Patrick has yet to be seen alive on Krakoa after being killed by the Upstarts.

Patrick Mahony (Earth-616)

Possibly a native of Ireland or Scotland, Patrick Mahony was recruited by Mister Sinister to serve as the leader of the Nasty Boys as Ramrod, a group of young mutants whose first and only missions were against the government sponsored X-Factor. However, he and his friend Ruckus were more interested in beer runs and a quick buck than in Mister Sinister's agendas.
