Yes, it’s his birthday, and his 58th birthday! He’s this young man in the group who seems to be loved by everyone! His power smile, his positive attitude, his seeing the good and his excellent music playing skills: he’s awesome!

Yes, my favourite Gyllene Tider boy, by passing Per Gessle! Even Anders is above Per, but it’s Micke Syed’s Birthday so, let it stay that way! Haha!

I wonder how he spent the birthday with his boys in France, must be super Toll!

Jetzt, i will wish dear Gaby who is living a beautiful sunny sky thanks to her love for Roxette, a band which bought 2 corners together - wonderful!

The emotional experience of reading RXB

Roxette is over, and it was a bad jerk to the heart.

Gyllene Tider is to say goodbye and somehow, it has stunned me a little bit more. All the memories, experiences, youth - it’s going!

It will be gone!

What is Per going through? First Roxette and now officially Gyllene Tider’s last project?

I mean, the dates were released on the 31st of January, but reading comments of the boys just makes things a bit too sad.

I feel like a whole chunk of my life is over when it barely took its pace. What about them who have followed this music all their lives? Or are they old enough to understand it better? Of course! Everyone moves on! But...?

Micke Syd is great btw, and adorable! Still my favourite, and him beating drums to GT beats this year, together to say goodbye makes it awfully.... sad.

Gyllene Tider und Ouuuu.....

Guten Abend, das Thema meine Meinung lautet „Gyllene Tider und Ouuu....“

So, I heard Gyllene Tider’s “Hjarta utan hem” because I was in a mood to listen to this song and..... well Micke Syd Andersson sings in it as well (AAAAAAAA MIXCKKEEE SSYYYYDDDDD......!!!!).

OK, I love thendrummer boy’s voice but there is this “Ouu....l” chorus sung in the background.

Don’t you think the “oooouuuuu......” sounds great in making a song sound cuter? Yeah?

This “oooouuuuu......” sounds beautiful in “I wanna be your boyfriend” as well! It makes the emotions in a song sound more pure and innocent so some reason. And as much as I know, this is inspired by the Bach Boys mainly. Gessle - most definitely likes them.

And then I also know Mr. Andersson is in the chorus so this makes it more cute for me! Yay!

So, Ich gehe jetzt ins Bett!

Top 9 from the 90s

After listening to the 90s, I’ve realised that the songs back then were slightly longer than the ones in the 80s and the 2000s. I won’t count the music of today because that’s just programmed looped noise. A song being 5 minute or 6 minute long isn’t a big deal in the 90s.

Certain songs in the 70s got really longer thanks to the progressive music approach.

But how am I supposed to link the above with Roxette?

I remember already mentioning “Love is all” being the longest song, so that’s out.

Per and Micke (the cute hunk) Syd had an interview today, and I haven’t read that yet, so, that’s what’s gonna be for tomorrow! Thanking PP in advance.

Mmmm mmm mmm mmm.... one hit wonders, great lyrics and a great video. Why did they not get more famous?

There she goes, also a song which artists like. I like it too, but what’s so special about it?

And Aussie’s sweetheart’s “torn” is excellent too! Hearing it on the radio is always a delight.

But can’t there be a top 20 lists? Per Gessle? Your choice is always fun to know, you know?

And things which I’m sure are new to many! Yes, Per Gessle seems slightly more sober over the years - he’s still funny, but grace is popping up! His answers are calculated and pleasant to read. Some can even make you smile - What a great guy! Points like: -  Gyllene Tider is a fantastic little band. -  I wanted to be an architect when I was little. But then I heard Get It On from T. Rex. - I like cleaning. -  I love when girls sing my songs. There is some sort of feminine fragility in many of my songs that comes out so well then. -  I have since then noticed that all performers, artists, actors and sportsmen/women I like, strangely enough, are very ordinary people. -  Goosebumps are lovely. Per loves cleaning? I didn’t know that. Did you? And being God for a day, he’d clean! Awesome! 6. You are the idol of many, but who is yours? – My wife! .... Blondie Baby!

Last night I asked my friend to help me chose between the greatest hits album of “Phil Collins” and “Blondie”.

She told me to go with Blondie.

Did I enjoy listening to Blondie in the morning, in the noon, in the afternoon and in the evening? HELLS YEAH I did!!! High energy and Debbie Harry’s vocals - it was fantastic. Whenever I listen to Blondie, only one thing comes in mind: That’s Gyllene Tider with a woman on lead.

Seriously, the drum pattern is very Micke Syd, there is plenty of organ, the bass sounds elaborated and the riffs have a touch of MP. Blondie is a band which Gyllene Tider fans would absolutely love.

And Gyllene Tider music is basically music mostly written by Per Gessle.

When the song “Atomic” starts - you’ll instantly be reminded of “Spegelboll” or the demo “Jimmys gitarr”.

Then there is “Hangin’ on the telephone” which was covered by Per and Marie as Roxette. There is this obvious connection. Although this one also reminds me a little of “Fru Nordin” for PG’s “En händig man” album. Do you also feel some resemblance?

The first ever Blondie song which I heard was “Maria” - I think it was 1999. I loved it then, I still love it. Brilliant song, brilliant brilliant song. Hear that church bell effect?

I’m only a Greatest hits admirer of Blondie, I think I better listen to some more, yeah?

The Assumed Lonely Boys

Per Gessle met Nick Lowe. Now should we expect some musical collaboration?

Nick Lowe reminds me of a white haired Elvis Costello without a hat.

Do you know, Elvis Costello has collaborated with Paul McCartney and came out with an unofficial album called “The McCartney/MacManus Collaboration”. Besides, his famous song “Veronica” was written together with McCartney. Cool, ain’t it?

Remember Per collaborating with Nisse Hellberg for “The Lonely Boys” project? 1995? Yeah, it has been 22 years since that happened.

Just for fun, I’m gonna share something cool which I completely forgot about over the years.

The Lonely Boys was a project where 5 guys were involved. 3 GT guys, Nisse and Thomas Holst (I don’t really know who Thomas is) made great music in the company of one another.

They used assumed names. Yea, did you forget about it too?

OK Roxette, Why Not Gyllene Tider

There was this post made on the Per Gessle official Facebook page which went like this: "The fans are really angry, no words about Marie during the Roxette Songs on stage....sad" On this particular post, the fans got a little disappointed by the person who posted it, as the fans really are not angry. I was just wondering, after seeing the "drummer of Gyllene Tider" enjoying the performance with Gessle yesterday, no body really cared about anything except the song which was being performed. My question is: Micke Syd was there, but he has not been there in the rest of the tour. Does it mean that: Fans must get angry with Per to have performed GT songs? No one from GT was there, not Anders, MP, Göran or Syd. No one in the crowd (or later on Facebook pages) raised the question that Gyllene Tider songs were performed without the old band being there. Getting disappointed by Per on performing Roxette songs, seriously? Why not GT? It's an actual question. Anyway, I'm off now. PS: MICKE SYYDDD AAAAAAA......!!! Love and Peace 20/8/2017
