Mike Malott knocks out Mickey Gall
Forever closing the book on Gall. Again.
Left hook as Gall stormed forward and Gall goes down and out. Nice name win for Malott in his UFC debut. Haven’t seen anything else from him but obviously he can pop, so if nothing else he’ll be a fun add to the welterweight division.
Not a single body shot thrown in that fight.

Mike Perry beats up Mickey Gall for like 3 rounds.
He walked through Gall’s best offense, knocked him down in the 2nd, and out grappled the younger man. Still, it seems pretty clear that Perry is just way way past his physical prime because this was a huge step down and he did not look great tbh. Seems to have lost a lot of the bounce he had when he got to the show and I think Gall could have hurt him if he committed to throwing combos.
I feel for Gall a little bit. Dude has had such an inconsistent start to his career in terms of development thanks to his high profile fights with CM Punk and Sage Northcutt. Like, theoretically, he should be like 9-1 and fighting for the CFFC welterweight title right now. Instead he’s fighting a depleted but still difficult Mike Perry in the co-main of a UFC card. But thems the breaks I suppose when you chase being a star like he did.
