context: Rom, remaining the only barrier capable of concealing the madness of Nightmare of Mensis, is also addressed by Micolash himself, as the madman prays to repeat her ascended fate. Their narrative connection does not yet end only here. Some people believe the two studied in Byrgenwerth with Laurence and Caryll, some believe they used to be affiliated with the Choir, and sometimes it is both. There are multiple hints to be found to base these ideas of.

so it hit me that laurence & micolash are the characters i multiship the most in bb (behind the hunter, who is probably an outlier) and not only is it hilarious because that's all the more lasting psychological damage to everyone involved, i noticed a pattern
