This show is part of the reason I find her so interesting: Her interest in learning and exploring things in the world. Her ability to be creative and engaging even when not acting. She’s a born orator/narrator, too. Pardon my gushing.

I cannot rely on the approval of the people around me to be happy. In Nebraska or the mid-west, at least where I live, that’s a big factor. Other people’s approval means respect, it means how people treat you, and it’s tough to get out of that especially as everybody knows everybody. There’s a lot of social pressure. I think people are excited but then they take a step back and realise, oh, we still have to live here.

What was in a purse from 1957 that was found in the space between a locker and a wall in an Ohio middle school? Now we know.

The contents of the woman's clutch were revealed on social media by the school Thursday, offering a glimpse into the life of an American teenager in the 50's. Like many women, Rumfola carried around a comb and some makeup, including powder and lipstick in the shade of "pastel pink."
