taking place months after the infection au, moons memory problems have been fixed. however a curse can never truly be healed.

often, false memories dig their way into moons mind. mostly in the form of dreams

carme is always there to soothe him back to sleep, assure him they’re not real, call moon his savior.

but moon will never forgive himself for letting carme get infected.

HEHEH. this is how i’m coping over the past episodes. can’t wait for carme’s recovery, but i can only imagine how hard moon will take it. how he will continue to blame himself for causing harm to others. beating himself up worse, knowing carme was the receiver. 💗

MIDNIGHTJESTER MONTH|I DAY: 6 GENDER-BENT (MIDNIGHTJESTER AU)✨

moons suggested trying makeup as a way to get in touch with her feminine side. they're comfortable in their body and sexuality, but navigating the road to self-identify can be vulnerable. carmines right there to help every step of the way. no matter what moon chooses to do with herself, carme finds every little thing about her partner to be wonderful.

i’m very normal about infected carme…i say. yknow. like a liar. (was not prepared for the amount of emotion in his voice GOD…do not ask me how i reacted to any of this.)

absolutely adorable to see moon worried about carme. i wanted to sketch this out better, but im tired and i need to draw manspread carme next.

the way carme was trembling and the camera focused enough of his hands (with a pause) i feel that if moon has body tracking he would’ve been holding them, holding carme steady.

following the events of the TSAMS canon, in a universe where moon and carmine enter a queerplatonic relationship with the focus of self discovery and exploration. both struggle to navigate through new shared experiences while trying to keep their relationship a secret from family and friends. a challenge that proves to test the traditional limits of love and questions the narrative.

this au was created out of respect for the canon, all my carmoon work is labeled under “midnightjester au” unless changed.
