One thing I was thinking about doing for NaNo was a fantasy story based on the life of this guy called Harald Hardrada. He was king of Norway, but before that he was exiled after fighting on behalf of his half-brother who had been king & lost a war, he served the Grand Prince of Novgorod for a bit, served a couple Byzantine emperors after that, then went back to Norway w/ all the riches he'd gained & became king, then failed to take England. Like hot damn that's already an epic fantasy story.

July & August (maybe others too) are Caesar's fault. Well, August was invented by/named after his adopted son Augustus, but still. And Caesar was definitely stabbed :P

There are a few animals that just make me ridiculously happy- sloths, manatees, meercats, ferrets, capybaras. I feel like one of those guys would be it.

20. would you rather be in Middle Earth, Narnia, Hogwarts, or somewhere else?

Am I guaranteed to be one of the tiny percentage of people who go on adventures/become a King or Queen of Narnia/are a wizard, etc? Or is there a chance I’m an average hobbit who lives out a sleepy Shire life and never journeys beyond the Brandywine, or a muggle?

If I’m guaranteed to be one of the special ones or a protagonist or something, then my instinct is to say I want to live in the Marvel universe and be a mutant.

Or maybe not because that would be really stressful? What with the apocalypse happening every other day, not to mention, like, Apocolypse? Hm.

I know! Can I live in my own book series?! Yes, I choose that. In which case, I am a faerie living in an urban fantasy/supernatural ragtag ensemble adventure.
