Which dc characters can I request? Or is just anyone okay?

I usually write most of them myself—especially for the Justice League and Teen Titans, and even for lesser-known characters like Aqualad—so feel free to ask. Just take a look at the rules first so you don't make a mistake when making a request.

Hi! What does Requesting only in private mean? I am kinda lost on that…

As for that, a lot of people used to flood my DMs with requests, which was a real hassle; people would also make requests on any of my posts, making everything even more chaotic and causing me to lose control of the situation. That’s why I posted that notice: so that anyone reading it would know to send requests only via Ask.
