ARen't I the only one who feel like crap after watching documentary of student that are way better than me ?

Christ alive, I feel like I have sweated a gallon tonight. This, if anything proves just how crucial continuous and regular workouts are for me. Running was a pain in my legs tonight, but I was back to my regular pace 1 km/10 minutes and did 3 km in just under 30 minutes. I am definitely aiming at being able to keep this pace for the race in June.

(I am also hoping that the weather won't be superwarm because that has never ended well for me)

Once running was over, I did some flexes and leg presses before ending with the bike. Tonight was not gonna be easy, but I did it and I am gonna do it again. Twice a week, Pia. You kick your own ass and think about that race.

Gym day today, aiming at getting back to twice a week and today was really the best alternative if I want to achieve that this week. Changed things up slightly on the treadmill, doing more of a medium intensity interval run. Three minutes of walking and about seven minutes of running at a medium pace. Ran 4 km in 40 minutes, so managed to keep my average pace, but it was definitely a more exhausting workout than doing high intensity. Still super proud that I could sustain a run for 7 minutes straight. Levelled up 10 kg on the leg press, doing 20 reps each with 20, 30, 40 and 50 kg, and then finished up with some weight lifting and 3 km on the exercise bike.

I'm doing my best to keep my eating healthy too so that the work I put in here won't go to waste, although at the same time I don't wanna police or guilt myself too hard. Your body is a temple and, as a wise woman once said: "sometimes my temple wants cheesecake."

I'm scheduled to do a follow-up blood test this month at occupational health services to check my blood sugar levels since they were slightly elevated last time. It wasn't bad enough to warrant a full-on test for diabetes, but the doc I saw wanted to keep an eye on it. So, regular, healthy meals and workouts twice a week and we'll see where that takes us.
