Does anyone else ship Mike and Sam from Until Dawn? I have a story I’m currently planning out but I don’t know if others would appreciate it like I do

Gives nose/forehead kisses

Sam. Mike really isn’t sure how to react when she does it; he’s not used to people giving him innocent displays of affection like that. He just smiles and kisses her back with a quick “thanks babe.”

Gets jealous the most

Mike. Because he’s such a raging narcissist, it takes a lot for him to get jealous. Sometimes Sam just likes teasing him, so she encourages it. When he finally does get jealous, he gets very alpha male and aggressive.

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive

Mike. He takes the task oddly seriously, contrasting with his usual casual manner. Taking it as his responsibility to get her home safe, he stays with her until she finally stumbles into bed at the end of the night.

Takes care of on sick days

Sam takes care of Mike. Sam is a health machine and practically never gets sick. However, Mike gets very stubborn and insists that he can take care of himself. It’s really weird for him to let someone else take care of him for a change. Sam hears none of his “macho bullcrap” and doesn’t leave until she watches him take his medicine and some Nyquil.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day

Sam, though it doesn’t take much to get him out with her. They both love the waves and tanning on the beach. Mike is more reluctant to take a hike through the steeply inclining rocky shores, but one word from Sam about how he “couldn’t handle it anyway” gets him racing ahead of her.

Gives unprompted massages

Sam. Mike is very pleased with this, thinking that it will probably lead to some more intimate touches. However, it usually does not turn out to be quite as sensual as he was expecting; Sam pins him down and really digs into his muscles to work out the kinks. Whenever he whimper’s in pain, she tells him to “suck it up princess.” 

Drives/rides shotgun

Mike drives while Sam rides shotgun. He finds it oddly calming, especially when they are driving around at night. Sam takes her shotgun responsibility seriously, always having the perfect driving playlist for whatever mood they are in. 

Brings the other lunch at work

Sam. She is a wonderful cook and makes him a homemade lunch full of healthy foods and veggies. Normally, mike would complain that there wasn’t any meat in it, but the lunch is so good that he lets it go.

Has the better parental relationship

Sam. Sam and her parents are more like friends than they are parents, something Mike never understands. He always had to hide thing from his parents, particularly after Blackwood Mt. Mike could never understand the feeling of being able to tell his parents anything.

Tries to start role-playing in bed

Mike. He is surprised with how into it Sam gets. She soon establishes herself as the dominate one. Being submissive is not a position Mike is familiar with, but he has to admit he doesn’t mind it at all.

Embarrassingly drunk dancer

Sam. Mike can’t look at her for more than five seconds before bursting into laughter. Seeing this, she starts to dance circles around him, eventually reducing him to tears of laughter.

Still cries watching Titanic

Mike. Though it’d take years of water torture to get him to admit it.

Firmly believes in couples costumes

Mike. He wants to be hottest couple in the room at all times. Sam is definitively not used to dressing that scandalously for Halloween, but admittedly, she feels strangely powerful standing next to Mike. Being with him is like an injection of self-confidence.

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas

Mike. He buys her a gorgeous necklace or earrings. Sam loves the gift and immediately puts it on, not taking it off for a whole week.

Makes the other eat breakfast

Sam. Mike almost never eats breakfast because he always sleeps in until it’s lunch time. Whenever Sam spends the night at his place, she wakes him up super early so that they can go out for pancakes. 

Remembers anniversaries

Sam. Hopeless, Mike depends on her to remind him of all the important days he needs to buy gifts for or plan out. Sometimes Sam gives him the wrong day just to fuck with him.

Brings up having kids

Sam. Mike is very taken aback by this, not having figured himself as the type of guy someone would want to have kids with. It takes him a few years to think about it, but he eventually comes around to the idea.
