space arc mikey somehow acquiring hairgel or the equivalent of hairgel on a market planet, staying up all night waiting for casey to fall asleep, then gelling his hair into a giant spike over and over and over and over and over again until it is actually stuck.

casey wakes up and everyone laughs at him as he walks into the main room. he finds it funny too until they cant actually get it out

Riley freeman is basically mikey whos allowed to swear and be violent and rude. His rivalry with santa is totally something mikey would do. Like he PROBABLY canonically loves santa but imagine splinter not being able to set up a traditional christmas because of living in the sewer. And he tries to explain this while keeping the magic alive but accidentally implies santa just doesnt deliver to the sewers, so mikey HAAATESSS him. The other three stopped believing in him at like 6-10 but mikey still does to this day. He just thinks hes anti turtle or smth and doesnt bring them any gifts. April and casey say they dont get gifts anymore, just their parents, and mikey says thats because theyre friends with turtles

Raph thinks ruphire and suselle are EXACTLY like him and y’gythgba/mona. Hes kinda right?? But tbh theyre kinda BOTH ruby and BOTH susie. Like mona is basically sapphire if she were a ruby and noelle if she was a little more confident and aggressive

Donnie WANTS to be huey but is really way more like rudy. Both him and mikey agree that mikey is riley and donnie is huey, but donnie thinks its because hes smart and stands up for what he believes in and donnie is annoying and constantly messes things up. Mikey thinks its because donnie is a killjoy and mikey is cool and awesome.

Leo latches onto a lot of characters that hes not similar too but he sees himself in and also projects onto any characters he likes to MAKE them more similar to himself

This was actually pretty fun to draw (except for the hands but it was pretty nice once I got the hang of it). 2012 Mikey my beloved, it was so nice to draw you over a meme
