Is it just me or is Miles Hundredlives harder to see as a bad guy with every new political decision you hear about rn? like, maybe violance is actually the anwser here, maybe it all just should be brought down

There's an awful lot of talk about payback in The Alloy of Law, most of which takes place a few months after the end of Wind and Truth.

Also, Hoid was almost impossible to spot in this one.

So a "hawk-like" face is just Brandon Sanderson's signal for a character that has a lot of internal struggle with the nature of justice and what's right and is a foil to the main character's sense of honor, then?

And with that, cosmere inktober is done! There really didn’t seem to be any other scene or character that would fit the prompts Thugs/Bubble/Swirl/Metal. Drawing this much over the month was rewarding, but I’m looking forward to getting my free time back 😅

I love Brandon adding another layer here. Wax implies that Miles would have fit right in with Kell and the Crew, which... Probably so. Though Miles doesn't smile enough.
