Leah's nap was short and sweet...
Lilly fell asleep more or less straight away, but even though Leah was quiet she didn't drift off. I went in to check on her after I heard something falling on the floor, and found her still very much awake...and very wet.
Somehow she managed to open her bottle of milk, and she had poured the milk all over herself, her pillow, mattress and her stuffed animals.
It is one of those moments where I just want to scream. If I hadn't been this drained, I would have been find with changing her bed. But my head is pounding and I feel I need a weeks sleep...if not more.
So I just picked her up and stuffed her into my own bed.
I still had dinner to attend to. After I made the meat sauce, I fell asleep on the sofa. I don't know what woke me up, but probably some vague sounds from their room. I went in and they were both slightly awake.
The dinner is done in a few minutes, so I am off to take some pain-killers. I will need that if I am to survive this afternoon with them.
