DS Chris Lomax going through several stages of grief after being told to surrender his phone
I know we’re all obsessed with Aziraphale and Crowley, but like...
Adam starting the apocalypse because the adults had basically destroyed the planet with species extinction, pollution, and the threat of nuclear war is such a Millenial Mood™
Anyone else in that weird middle gap where you don't know if you're a millenial or gen z?
I am making an official post right here right now to call for solidarity between the Millennials and the iGeneration, Gen Z, whatever we’re calling them this week idk & idc. The generation that watched the world burn and the generation born of the flames are officially spirit sisters. Together we are the products of the technological revolution and we are powerful. The new generation, whatever we eventually name it, is reaching voting age. The millennials are reaching electability age. With our coordination skills and sheer numbers (seriously, look it up, we’re HUGE!), we pose a mortal threat to the status quo. Those in power realize our capabilities and they are afraid. If you want to see change, congratulations! You’re paying attention! That’s something we’re all good at since we never put down our damn access to the greatest wealth of knowledge humanity has ever compiled. We have new ideas and we can share them like never before.
As generations, we are strong. But together, we cannot be stopped.
USAmericans are so naïve, honestly. Their narratives are all about couples meeting in cafés or going to IKEA together or becoming roommates and having fluffy moments on the sofa, everything all cozy and domestic. Meanwhile, the average Spanish narrative is: the female lead is having two hundred psychotic breakdowns, she’s an absolute nightmare of a person, she weaponises her mental illness to be even more unbearable, she basically wants to die, she’s addicted to barbiturates, and the guy just has to fucking deal with it. There’s no cute little IKEA date, there’s a full hysterical meltdown in the middle of the street. Zero comfort, pure delusion.
Honestly, I like USAmerican romance fics and stories less and less these days because they’re so, so naïve. I need deeply deranged people or I genuinely cannot relate.
Terrible work week + a couple late nights + my car wouldn’t start this morning ugh
I need a hug and a nap. I get a cat who is soft and purring, some sushi, a glass of wine, and maybe a bath.
