I'm always intrigued by how people perceive generations. Now, it's not unusual for kids to consume the media of people older than them, I had Destiny's Child Barbie dolls after all, but do people not get that the One Direction guys, Selena Gomez, and the cast of Victorious were all millennials?

I really miss

Listening to music on a Walkman for the first time and only hearing music through soft padded earphones. You could just be alone in your bedroom or walking around a large open field and it wouldn't matter because all you would have is the one music rock sampler from 1998 to keep you company.

And you could hear every detail of the music.
