Until you realise that EVERYWHERE is asking you to already have the skills but NOWHERE is prepared to teach you them.

Me, sick as fuck, laying in a hotel room bed at 10:24 PM, scrolling through Newsies fanfiction, half paying attention to a documentary on the History Channel about how crystal skulls from around the world were left by aliens and all legends of magic come from aliens, not having my contacts in so squinting a lot whenever there’s a part I feel like paying attention to

We’re Millenials - we were raised on grand gestures and epic adventures in books, series and movies - of course we don’t know how to tackle everyday human interactions.

But hey - at least we make pretty awesome storytellers.

So I am a Millenial and I sometimes feel my generation suffers from a severe form of doormat syndrome - aka destructive people-pleasing. We also tend to overuse the word "cringe" for anything and everything our parent's generation would've considered completely normal, such as promoting your own business and artwork, asking for paid support for your craft, etc. I think it's high time Millenials learnt to stand up for ourselves. 🔥
