Ok but if we’re going to do this whole “Len is transmasc!” thing, which I mean I HOPE we are, let’s not act like this came out of the blue. For me, it was always
He’s voiced by a girl (and sings high)
He’s short (er than you’d expect for a boy)

and he’s still very much the boy of the duo. That’s not questioned. That’s kinda his whole thing, is he’s the boy one. He’s such a comforting character to project onto, because he doesn’t have expectations to live up to. He’s the boy one.
Len’s been trans for ages everyone’s just noticing it now.
ok but ego renegade boy is soooo important because so many people guilt tboys over the "loss" of a beautiful daughter and femininity etc etc. ive seen a lot of ppl say like "u were such a pretty girl tho" and "grieve" a living man and this song takes that rhetoric of "you killed my daughter" and it flips it and goes "ok So What? Its My Life." and i think so many of us needed to hear that. its so important we see art and representation like this it feels empowering bc like Yeah she's gone and now I'm here. I'm alive and u can't make me live a lie. truthfully i dont even know many songs about being a trans boy and seeing one with one of my all time favorite characters thats so steeped in confidence and pride makes me so happy. ive experienced feeling like im "taking my parents daughter away" even tho im not even out and this song literally flips that fully around from guilt into something you should be proud of, you survived and the real you is alive now. flavor foley u genius
