an incredulous stare at her gesturing is what quickly follows and it quickly dissipates once fyodor notes that she seems to be quite serious; while it seemed beneath him, it certainly was not the worst of places he has called home ( temporary or not ) and he was not about to argue when the police were unhappy with his endeavors again. snatching a spare pillow from the bed, he carelessly tosses it into the closet and makes himself comfortable; not even minutes later and his stomach is making undignified noises—— he has not eaten in three days. 

before he even works up the will to go retrieve his own food—— hoh, what’s this? crust is shoved under the door. spindly fingers reach to grab the bits of bread, careful not to touch the proffering hand out of sheer habit; a hum of thanks and he breaks off bits to share with the rat she had gifted him earlier this week.

Karamatsu loved all of the attentive gazes he received when walking around Koi. Clearly, nobody had ever seen such a cool man in this place, and he was enlightening them, blessing them with the very picture of edgy masculinity. But he was a loner, a true rebel, and it was best that they admire him only from afar. Nothing good ever came from flying too close to the sun...the Karamatsu sun included.

Still, he wasn’t one to shy away from those in need. So, when he saw a red and white ball on the ground near a young girl, he sprang into action, picking it up and offering it to her in a grandiose fashion.

“My darling little Karamatsu girl...you seem to have dropped this, hm? You should be more careful~“

today was going to be a peaceful day for her. she wasn’t planning on doing anything too dramatic or busy, so she was just taking the time to relax on a big plain of grass! if she had her camping gear and all her other pokemon, she’d definitely be playing with them by now... but alas, she only had one with her. didn’t mean she couldn’t play with them, however! it was just real hard to try and throw a ball past them, since they basically tower over her.

so instead, she had bought... well, a cat toy. it was like the ones they used back at home, so this would have to do! while teasing her inteleon with moving the toy out of the way whenever they went to try and grab the feather, her gaze began to move around the rest of the plain... and she could’ve sworn she saw something hiding in the shadows of the trees nearby. continuing to shake the toy, she continued to look over in that general direction before finally coming across a hint of pale yellow.

was that a mimikyu? couldn’t have been her own, they’d have ran over by now!

deciding to give inteleon the toys she had to amuse themselves, she got up and walked over to them. it was at that moment that she realised that she wasn’t the only one that had come to this space... did she lure people here with the toys she was using? crouching down to get nearer to the mimikyu’s height, she gave it a smile and small wave. “ hi there, lil’ guy. “ her head then turned to the girl that seemed to be keeping a close eye on them. no shock, these guys were easy to lose if you stopped watching them! “ this one’s yours, right? i ‘ad one of my own, but they’re not with me anymore for some reason... sorry if i’m disturbing you! “

Small girl sidles up to Riku, unseen and unheard. Stands behind him quietly until he notices, then passes him a bag of various flavours of malasada and a set of dusk filled marbles.

It doesn’t take very long for him to notice, in all reality— dutifully, he is fairly aware of his surroundings, questioning hum in acknowledgment of her presence as he turns towards her. Bags are handed off to him, an inquisitive tilt of his head when he notes the scent of something…sweet, perhaps? Food, most certainly…and some marbles. A sweet gesture, even if it leaves his hands a little full.

A moment as he shifts items, free hand is raised to rub top of head briefly; expression of gratitude is murmured quietly before he takes his leave.

Alright, so the situation she’s in isn’t... ideal. It sucks, actually. But moping around won’t really do much for her in the long run, so Molly just sighs and walks through the city, trying to familiarize herself with its layout and shops. There was a lot more than she expected, and the amount of people around overwhelmed her a bit. But she had to push on, even if activating her silence bubble sounded like a really good idea right now.

She really hopes she can go back home soon... very soon. She wasn’t able to tell any of her friends where she disappeared to, and now the toy shop won’t have a cashier for the night shifts! And almost every shift, really. What if she’s stuck here forever and she can’t go back? Will she be presumed missing? Dead? Sure, not many would care, but... just thinking about it...

This is going to be a big problem. A very, very big one. What will she say if she ends up going back? Will her dad and sister be mad at her? Giovanni and Sylvie? Trixie, Phoenica... 

She gets lost in her thoughts, and unknowingly bumps into someone. Their items fall to the floor, and she blinks in surprise before hurriedly leaning down to grab them.
