experiment with your speaking. When you are speaking, imagine your words being filled with light. If you need to speak a bit more slowly and deliberately, try it, and imagine each word being filled completely with the light of your Self.

The cheap thrill of gossip fades fast. Lasting connection is built on respect, not ridicule.
In a world obsessed with doing, don't forget the power of simply being. Who you're will always outweigh what you accomplish.
#MindfulSpeech
Everyone is EQUAL, no matter what race, gender, sexuality, or religion you are. I will admit, this generation is the most accepting generation, but over the last year, our society has changed dramatically. It is NOT okay to discriminate and It is NOT okay to make fun of other people based on how they look, who they love, or what they believe. It's also NOT okay to not stand up for each other. Trust me, I know how hard it is to speak up against others. But we must unite and we must put a stop to discrimination and hate. We need to be strong and stand up to say "That's not okay". We need to come together as diverse human beings and realize that our differences make us stronger. What is happening is not okay. #MindfulSpeech
"Fight or flight" is it really that black and white? Life does not always warrant reaction but a response. Sometimes it's " Pause... Respond"
Generally speaking, the first nonviolent act is not fasting, but dialogue. The other side, the adversary, is recognized as a person, he is taken out of his anonymity and exists in his own right... To engage someone in dialogue is to recognize him, have faith in him. At every step in the nonviolent struggle, at every level we try tirelessly to establish a dialogue, or reestablish it if it has broken down.

I cannot stress enough...
How powerful mindful speech truly is. It can alter the life, thoughts and perception of the receiver. Through kind, loving, and understanding speech...You can literally change lives, views and the world around you. You must practice this every single time you open your mouth to another. You must speak the way you wish you had always been spoken to, with compassion, being mindful of what the receiver might be facing. The power of words when spoken with love is amazing.
Love and Light my friends.
Speech can be constructive or destructive. Mindful speaking can bring real happiness; unmindful speech can kill. When someone tells us something that makes us healthy and happy, that is the greatest gift he or she can give. Sometimes, someone says something to us that is so cruel and distressing that we want to go and commit suicide; we lose all hope, all our joie de vivre.
