okay, i finally watched the preview and I’m kind of mad at mnnet/pds/editors for trying to set up a “rivalry” between Jisung and Samuel. I’m not saying either can’t get #1, but they (mnet) did the same sort of “rivalry” edit for Daniel and Jihoon in the preview for episode 4 and then ended up not doing anything with that at all during the show?? Also I’m still irked that they sometimes show scenes in previews that don’t show up in the actual episode. ekjflwkjelfkewkfe I’ve been voting voted like crazy for my faves that are in danger. ;__;

Harry Potter x racism

No we are not talking about pure bloods, half bloods and muggle borns.

Here will talk about the blatant racism in the Harry Potter series.

Here we go:

•most of the characters are white, which is in a way understandable, because ofcourse it's Brittain.

•but let's not forget that there is a decent amount of immigrants and first generation kids too.

•and the very few poc characters are nothing but stereotypes after stereotypes.

•let's take a look at our very own Cho Chang. She's East Asian, Chinese to be more specific. Her name is made up of two surnames, one korean and the other is Chinese. J K Rowling could put in effort into naming Sirius, Remus and so many more, but she could not even check whether Cho Chang was appropriate or not.

•let's look beyond the name, shall we? Cho Chang is the epitome of a stereotypical character. She is in the smart house, did not have much of a personality and is crazy about boys.

•another easy Asian character was nagini, who was initially a South Asian woman who was basically a slave to voldemort.

•let's talk about Padma and Parvati for a minute. Their names again are the most cliched ever. And even if we forget about the names, the only time they were in the limelight was when they were connected to white men.

•the atrocities done to their dresses is a whole new topic. Just because they are indians, they have to be dressed in ghagra cholis and lehengas, I really don't have a problem with lehengas, but did you even look at what they were wearing. That was such an improper representation of Indian culture.

•THERE IS NOT A SINGLE MUSLIM IN THE ENTIRE 7 BOOK SERIES!!!!

•until and unless you count Kingsley Shakelbolt, which is not confirmed.

•Also what was wrong with his clothes? Were they deliberately made to look like an awful representation of muslim culture?

•also most of the black characters were either Slytherin or evil!

•also Seamus Finnigan is probably the only Irish. Another example of bad representation .

•there is a video YouTube called "every single word spoken by a person of colour in the entire Harry Potter series", and it is only 6 minutes 18 seconds long.

I might just make a part two of this because this pissed me off to a whole new level.

Lee Gunhee (Keonhee) - (Current Rank #27) - His voice is so nice and his smile looks like a cat’s smile. 

Takada Kenta - (Current Rank #29) - He’s just perfect, enough said.

Im Youngmin - (Current Rank #31) My alpaca son can rap and sing and he’s just so adorable. I’m cri. 

Kim Donghyun - (Current Rank #35) His lips are to die for tbh, but he also composes and plays the guitar and he’s just really cute. I think a lot of the Brand New Music boys are overshadowed by Daehwi kejklfejwkr I want them to all shine. ;__;

Jeong Dongsu - (Current Rank #36) - His vocal tone is so cool, there’s something about it that makes me replay his audition song + his lines in the Shock stage.

Park Woojin - (Current Rank #38) He’s cute, he’s talented, his smile is so cute (that fang???), and he completely transforms on stage. 

Lee Gwanghyun (Current Rank #40) - He’s a rapper but he sang in Replay and blew me away. I honestly didn’t think he was a rapper at all. 

Jung Jung - (Current Rank #42) - He’s cute, he can do crazy acrobatics + dance really well, HE’S CUTE?? Idk what’s up w/ knetz

Lee Insoo - (Current Rank #43) - He’s a great rapper (and Vasco agrees) but like most other rappers, they haven’t really had a chance to show their skills.

Kim Sangbin - (Current Rank #55) - He looks so good and he’s a pretty good rapper. He wrote a new rap for the BIL stage ;__; I want him to pull through in the first elimination so he can showcase his rapping more but he didn’t get the 3000 and only got 7 votes soooo ;__;

Lee Gunmin (Current Rank #83) - He hit all the high notes in BIL AND did a back flip. I’m cri. TBH all of the RBW trainees are underrated ;__;

I have a conundrum. I need to finish a fanfic (or two...) but I need to undress one of the female characters but I need help with making period/historical outfit descriptions realistic and accurate. Is there a place for this kind of help?
