hey just dropping by to say how that blog called you out for not agreeing with an already confusing/fucked up post was not okay and that I agree with you fully. also the fact that she went through and looked for your tags and then proceeded to call you out on their larger blog is gross, it's bullying, and I won't tolerate it. I'm so sorry.

i literally got up so fast at this msg, that my cramps hurt so fckn much woo let me tell you. 

but anyway??? i’ve LITERALLY have made posts about people dehumanizing their idols, and thinking of them as toys / property, and never have i ever once agreed to any of that. that was so ridiculous, like?? i’m so pissed rn i can’t even form the words, but this person called me out just for not agreeing with their own opinion which doesn’t even make a lot of sense, because shipping doesn’t equal racism. this isn’t a race thing in the first place. 

i’m so angry about this, my followers know that i stand up for idols and their privacy / safety when it comes to fans dehumanizing them. just because i disagreed with them, doesn’t mean they should bully me for it?? i’m so angry, they know nothing about me :-(

Oh boy. I always get so nervous to send you asks, I hope this is okay lol. I just wanted to send you a little letter because I appreciate you and your work and I want you to know in more than the ask or fanmail word limits.

Caroline, the way your writing makes me feel is really hard to describe. I always get really excited when I see that you’ve posted something new. The way that you write is so real. Like. I feel it right in the middle of my chest. You manage to turn regular life situations into something extra. Does that make sense? Like your college au fics make me smile so much. I could totally see something like those situations occurring while I was in undergrad. The emotion that you put into your characters makes me hold my breath. I feel anxious when Jonghyun does, I laugh when Taemin does. I know Kibum’s sass in my soul, lol. I feel with them, you know? It’s really incredible.

So I just wanted to thank you for continuing to write and post and interact with us on Tumblr even when you have to deal with bullshit in real life or online. I just admire your work so much. I know I’ve sent a couple of asks, but I hope you feel my sincerity. I truly admire and appreciate you. Especially your use of language. It’s so powerful. Your titles and even some words you put into your fics always have me searching for the meaning, and that makes me feel even more connected to the fic. I don’t know if I could ever properly express how much I love Torpe. I read it a year ago when you posted it on LJ and I always go back and reread it when I’m not feeling so well. It’s one of my favorite fics, and it brings me so much joy. Your writing is something that I cherish, so thank you.
