In response to your "Bedroom Scene Analysis" I'd say that the bonding moment was a point in the series where Keith's romantic feelings for Lance began to develop while the bedroom scene was a point where Lance's romantic feelings for Keith began. They're both important scenes in a way that they began liking each other in those moments. At least that's how I perceive it.

I would say I agree with that. At the very least that was their "oh shit, he means more to me than I thought" moment. The interesting thing about it is the parallel.

Bonding moment: Keith realizes that he genuinely really cares for Lance and starts to develop feelings. Lance responds by denying it happened and pulling away, successfully hurting Keith.

Bedroom Scene: Lance realizes that he really values Keith and cares about his opinion. He starts to really, consciously develop feelings. Keith responds by pulling away and then actually running away, successfully hurting Lance.

Up to this point I don't think either boy was fully emotionally developed so when they reached out to each other, things got jumbled. They didn't know how to express or accept love, nor did they really know what to do with their feelings. But now, going into s8, they are in different circumstances. The time apart has given them a chance to see what they really mean to each other. I mean, Keith was gone and Lance practically collapsed in on himself and isolated himself. Similarly, we never saw Keith truly happy about his decision to join the blades. Because he wasn't.

Now they have also faced death. I mean, they had faced it before but the end of s7 is the closest they've ever been. I was literally yelling at my screen that it needed to show me that they were still alive. So they've been apart and nearly lost each other completely. Keith has managed to understand and accept the love he has for his mom and Shiro. Lance has managed to (to some extent) come to terms with his own feelings. Even when Keith comes back after just bailing the way he did, Lance is still trying to reach out to him and connect with him.

So I think, now, we need a third and final moment that mirrors parts of each of the first two. We need a moment where they're like "oh shit, I can't deny this anymore". Except this time, they both feel that and neither runs away. I think everything is set for it. They were thrown back together under tense circumstances and their bond was stronger than ever. I mean Shiro was right there and Keith handed over the care of the team to Lance.

Furthermore, they were apart for what, to Keith, was two years. A lot changes in two years. Even for Lance it was a few months and a lot can change in that time, too. And yet suddenly, when the time came to form the wings of voltron, they were able to do it, together, on the first try. Do you know what kind of strong bond that requires? Do you know what kind of emotion stays that strong even after time apart? What kind of emotion endures even when your last encounter was negative? Love.

So long story short (I'm so sorry. You didn't come to me for a mini meta I just have such strong feelings about this), The bonding moment was the beginning of Keith's romantic interest in Lance. The bedroom scene was the beginning of Lance's accepted (because it's confirmed that he wasn't emotionally ready to deal with the feelings from the bonding moment. So it's very likely his romantic interest in Keith started sooner but he was denyint/ignoring it. I personally think that's the case) romantic interest in Keith. And season 7 has showed us that, despite everything they have been through, that romantic interest is stronger than ever. So it would be a bit of an understatement to say I'm hopeful for season 8. I'm about as convinced as humanly possible that we're getting Canon Klance.
