It's so damn hot I couldn't even take my Ren to the real beach. 🥵🌡️ I would definitely get fried trying and his resin body would melt for sure. He'll have to wait until this nasty heatwave is over.
Ren thought he would be a better bassist than guitarist so he bought a Fender jazz bass. I have to admit it really suits him. Now I have to make a strap. The bass guitar looks nice but it's not perfectly made. One of the pickups is dented and couple of frets are crooked. And the case came damaged, I had to glue almost every corner. Besides, I don't like the popper closing, it's too big and doesn't look good. I understand it's handmade but, really, one could do better, even if it meant a higher price.
Ren was playing his guitar in a rehearsal space room.
I have to admit Ren looks great with that bass guitar. Something about him reminds me of Zero from D'ESPAIRSRAY from Coll:set era. I wish I could have a mini version of Zero's ESP Tricksy. His signature bass is so cool! However I think that jazz bass is nice too. It breaks Ren's black and white colour scheme, in a good way, I mean.
I try to style Ren similar to his style icon, Stray Kids' Felix. There aren't many 1/4 clothes that resemble Felix's stage outfits. I remember Felix once wearing a sleeveless shirt and tie, though his trousers were shorter and wide leg. At least there is some resemblance to that outfit. And I have some other pieces giving Felix vibes: black faux fur jacket, cropped jacket, blue knitted hat with ears or this horned beanie.
Last Saturday Ren went to a rehearsal space room to play some rock music. He likes playing his guitar and practises a lot. His favourite musician is Miyavi and Ren hopes to become at least half as good as him.
My Ren is finally back home. 🪷 He's got new faceup and new wig. As a character he grew up and is now 20 (he was 16 back then). His look was heavily inspired by Felix of Stray Kids, particularly what Felix looked like at Chicago Lollapalooza 2024 when he went shirtless while performing "Charmer". I'm super happy with my refreshed Ren. 🥰 I love him so much, I'm not even sure who's my favourite boy right now - Ren or Tristan. 🤭 The only problem now is finding the right clothes. Well, I don't expect to find anything with tiny LV logo. I only managed to make that LV pendant. And a pair of trousers can be a real challenge in Ren's case because his legs are so long that everything ready-made will be too short.
I also had to change Ren's aesthetics moodboard. He's no longer a pink haired teenager roaming around Harajuku in his free time. He's a college student with bleached hair whose dream is to become an actor and seiyuu. He still likes dancing and he's got a part-time job at a cafe.
