commander renée minkowski my beloved :)
me: "I rewatch the Wolf 359 live show for the plot"
the plot:
Thank you W359 for giving me my new last name. I won’t say which one but it’s a ref from the podcast and I started the legal change process two weeks ago.
Throwback to Wolf 359: Why did Hilbert suggest leaving Eiffel outside to die during a solar flare in season one, considering his ongoing experiment? Every time I relisten to Wolf 359, I go, "Wait, why is he doing that?"
In that moment, Hilbert did some quick probability math and came to the conclusion that a rescue operation would almost certainly result in the deaths of both Eiffel and Minkowski.
Starting over his trials with a new subject, the way he did during the first Hephaestus Mission, would have been an enormous problem to take on, but it would have definitely been better than being left with no viable test subjects at all in one fell swoop.
Fortunately, he underestimated Renée Minkowski and her jet pack thingy and the Commander was able to beat the odds!
Eiffel and Minkowski but in a platonic way.
Wolf 359 sketches that slowly decline in quality because I’m tired
DOUG EIFFEL?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!?

Doug Eiffel (the only one who gets 2 because he gives me two kinds of vibes and I had to)
