Making Peace Feel Welcome
On the ride to their first destination, Peace volunteered to stand, knowing that he would take up too much space if he sat down with the others. The group initially accepted his decision and continued chatting among themselves as they usually did before Peace was officially integrated into the group --
However, feeling bad that he was left alone and could only contribute minimally to their conversation because of his distance (and also feeling awkward on his behalf that he was getting stared at because of his headgear), the seated trio scooted over and offered him space to sit between them, with Xiu Ying and Engel purposefully leaving as little space as possible so that Peace would have no choice but to sit close to Zoe. Devious Cupid Duo strikes again.
Peace, who was far too polite for his own good, was initially resistant, but eventually gave in and sat among them, now all huddled together and practically hanging off the seats, but with Peace admittedly feeling less excluded.
