I thought we lost our wild lupine, but it turns out it’s been hiding in among the giant echinacea stems, readying its blooms.

I promised a few of you who contributed to my birthday plant fund that I’d share what I got! I finally ended up at the plant shop I meant to visit in May before my poor cat got sick.
The right plant is a Caladium that’s going outside with the porch plants to live the humid summer life and the right is a Crocodile Fern that’ll be living on my covered porch for the summer.
I am so excited to try out two genera that I’ve never grown before.
