I had a dream last night that my mom (who, irl, fears all things creepy-crawly with phobic intensity) gifted me an adult female tarantula, and for some reason, I decided to assemble it's [lidless??] terrarium outside. I briefly left it to talk to my mom abt smth, and when I returned, there was a kestrel perched on the rim with the spider clutched in one foot and I was like "NO!!" and the little shithead flew off with my sWEET BABY GIRL.

So I ran back inside, sobbing to my mom abt what just happened--mourning my new 8 legged baby and feeling SO BAD that I killed her gift so quickly. After a stunned moment, she just laughed.

I never do desaturated shit!!! This was way out of my comfort zone but I think cause of the glitchy stuff it still gives it some bright colours which I like. Quite happy with this, came up with the sketch without reference which I'm happy with... It's basically all from memory/imagination. Some bits are a bit funky but that's cause me sketch was me lineart 💀 I really wanted to give him a plaid jacket!!! Similar to Tyler's black and white one. Cause I was gonna do the blue as a cold grey but changed my mind. Sorta glad, I love drawing plaid. Plus I could give it a lining. ANDDDD I gave him a spotted tie with half tones and stuff!!! I was stuck between yellow and red but because I loved the background colours sm I just took em in to do half tones. You can't see it as much in the desaturated one but I'm happy with it. Callback to Detective Mills in Se7en lol. I just watched red dragon so it made me think of him. And loved drawing a dagger collar. So cool

Can we talk about the fact that in every Marichat fanfic, comic, or whatever? Cat noir always calls Marinette "Purrincess~~~" or a simple "Princess". Who in the love of Miraculous World established that? It's like a rule in every fanfiction I read. I don't think this has happened in the real show. I as a Marichat shipper am not complaining... I find it cute, but who was the 1st person to do that. I am curious. 🤔🤨
