will forever mourn the samira mel friendship we could've had. they had such similar things happening to them in very different ways. Both of them felt like they were losing control at the same time. Both of them felt abandoned by their family, Mel with Becca; and Samira's mom leaving when Samira gave up her desire to be at PTMC to move in with her mom to take care of her. And now they both are feeling more alone than ever, desperate to connect with someone. Mel got that with Langdon and a little with Santos - the karaoke scene, but a Samira Mel best friendship would've been elite.
