What: Art commission
Why: Ignored references, made changes I hadn’t agreed to, refused to correct any changes and was rude and unprofessional.
When: March 27-April 5, 2019
Explain: On March 27, I commissioned mirandemia to draw a digital colored bust of my tiefling character and paid in advance. I provided them with a clear reference image, an additional one for her markings and a short description. On April 5, they sent me the “finished” piece in a private message. I immediately noticed that they had made several changes to the character without my consent and had left her horns uncolored. One of these changes included changing her skin color from a natural dark olive to a vibrant red for some bizarre reason. I replied to their message trying to politely ask if they would mind correcting some changes (screenshot). They replied defending the change they made to her skin color and refusing to correct any changes (screenshot). They then proceeded to block me before I could request a refund.
Mod note: Submitter, would you be willing to provide pics of your reference and the resultant art, for comparison’s sake?
