Kind of long answer, so it’s under a cut! And this was asked before the origin split, so presume this is when Kean and Mirien have met all the ROs.

Kida

K: thinks Kida is really cool! He has cool scales!

M: Regards him coolly. He’s a simple farmers boy. MC could do better.

Astha

K: Um, you’re dating the person he admires the most? Astha just got a lot cooler!!

M: Mirien approves of her more than most.

Seeren

K: She’s flashy, he’ll give her that. But she has some cool bottles he likes to take.

M: She begrudgingly approves. Seeren has power, if anything at least.

Vanerith

K:He’s tall. And moody.

M: He’s a rather strange demon.

Aenon

K: They have cool hair!

M: She agrees to the union wholeheartedly. Royalty? Hell yes!

Eshad

K: A djinn? Cool! Can Eshad grant him a wish? No? Okay. Maybe next time.

M: She focuses a little too much on Eshad.

I'm fascinated by the premise! Do we have any other family besides our brother, father and (missing) mother?

Your father has... relations.... with Mirien, his ‘consort’, which is where your brother comes from. He is technically not of the royal line, but depending on your choices, you can choose to see him as your real brother or not.

Mirien herself is a quiet lady who keeps to herself, and is very protective of her son. And maybe of you too....

You have an aunt somewhere in the castle, your mother’s sister, but you don’t encounter her very much. And your father’s family lives outside the castle, but he shunned them when he married into royalty.

What does Mirien look like and does she have feelings for our father or is she trying to just secure her position so to speak?

Mirien is a rather pale woman, on the plump side, rather huggable, like a mother should be. But she has this air about her, maintaining her dignity no matter what, and seems to glide wherever she goes. She has dark blonde hair, usually tumbling down her back, but in times of stress, keeps it up in a bun.

Mirien at one time loved your father. But 6 years is a long enough time to lose that. Now she is just trying to protect her son in the best position she can think of: right beside the madman who caused all the problems.
