old concept for my other project, Ayen, a pet of one of the main characters. (name is a phonetic spelling of the letters A N, this little guy's full name is shared with a political figure in this world and the characters use that to differentiate them)
I'm not sure is they're going to actually make it into the story, much less as anything other than a foot note in book one.
