I did something again.
My condolences
Not to get cringe on main, but here's some Mirrorwalker Ford content for you guys. I'm holding all 28 voters at the time of posting to your word to not be mean about him you said you wanted this /j
My condolences to all the people whose multiverse Fords I abducted for my demonstration. You might recognise them......
I'm sorry about my handwriting the text function on my program was a nightmare to use feel free to ask any questions if you can't read something. [Feel free to ask questions in general I love to yap]
He's very complicated to explain. The long and short of it is, Ford was in a hole and decided instead of climbing out, he'd keep digging. Mary's deal was pretty good at first - he could take refuge in the mirror realm, gained a lot of power, and Bill would lose most his influence over him because he wasn't the 'main' one in control of him. Of course, that did come with a price of surrendering more control to Mary - but she and him wanted the same thing: to take Bill down.
Well, third time's the charm. Jhesselbraum is a slightly more benevolent patron, but Mary still owns more of him than her. But because of how the setup works, any 2 patrons can vote against another one to make a decision. Usually this is Mary and Jhessie making decisions against Bill, but if Mary decides to overstep, Bill and Jhesselbraum can step in to prevent it.
The benefit to this setup is that The Bloodhound is a much more powerful than average Ford, with the ability to age backwards if he so pleases. The downside is that he is not in control of his life whatsoever, has to hunt down others to live and may or may not be trapped in this setup for eternity. Great.
As a person, he's a pretty dry and easily annoyed guy - but he does have a particularly good sense of humour as a Ford, even if it doesn't show up as often. And it's a bit dark. When he is cheerful though it's pretty brilliant. He's quite blunt in general, and has a bit of showmanship about him when he's trying to intimidate. All authors truly are dramatic.
He refers to Bill, Fidds and Stan as 'anchors' for himself and other Fords, and does so almost exclusively when describing their roles in each person's lives. He doesn't like to admit to himself that he is a far from 'perfect' Ford by his own definition. Seeing far too many lifetimes have made him extremely skewed towards Stan. Not that he'd ever admit it. He does hunt Stans sometimes, after all. To be fair, they have nothing on his own Stan. Who he grew a mullet out for because he missed him. (He says it's because there's benefits to being mistaken for a Stan sometimes. That much is true, but there's also cons too so it's really more of a net neutral)
His own Stan, who sees him periodically watching him in the mirror, and assumes it's a hallucination. Until Dipper and Mabel start reporting seeing him too. Now he's concerned.
Though MW has 3 main deals where he's sold 'himself', he actually has about a dozen or more pacts where he sells smaller, more insignificant parts. He's sure it's fine that he can't remember what his favourite food is or that he's missing a few important memories. He got spells and power and strength and really that's all he needs right now.
Sometimes he turns into his child self to either fit into smaller spaces and hide or to invoke sympathy - especially if he's fighting a Stan or Ford.
I could keep going and not shut up. Hope you guys like him and my shitty ass drawings. These were done out of order or the declining quality would've been too obvious dsjhbdfsh
