Well, wonder no more!
This is Eris, and their whole shtick is that!
They imitate the voice of someone that its target looks up to, and then manipulate said victim into ruining their relationship with said person via multiple phone calls.
But, if the victim and the one they look up to already have a ruined relationship, it manipulates the victim into ruining their own life.
You might be wondering why I made this creature a Web avatar.
Well, that’s because 1. Manipulation of this variety are of The Web, and 2. The cords on rotary phones can be likened to the strands of spider’s webs.
